Here is one that I got recently that is asked for frequently but has not been released. This seems to be the complete sessions from The Train Robbers by Dominic Frontiere (1973). This is not an edit mutilation from the DVD. These are original tracks with audio slates. The bit rate is 256kbps but sound is very vibrant and in stereo. No track names. If there is interest, please PM me.

Track 2 seems to be the Main Title, and track 20 the End Title. Also Track 1 seems to be a stringing together of tracks 2, 6 and 7.

Can any one here familiar with the film provide us with the proper sequencing and possible names or descriptions of the cues?

Watched the movie today and identified the tracks. Not all the film cues are here, but we have the meat of the score.

NOTE: a number in bold after the track title indicates its film order.

1. Let's Go To Mexico / Bad Guys Arrive [2] / Bad Guys Ride Out [3]
• The first 2:26 of this cue is an unused alternate of "Let's Go To Mexico." The film version can be heard on Track 2.
• From 2:26 to 3:48 is an unused section for the bad guys as they arrive by train and begin to disembark on horseback. In the film, this scene is left unscored.
• From 3:48 onwards is the cue for the bad guys galloping off into the desert and tracking Lane's men & Mrs. Lowe as they head down to Mexico.

2. Let's Go To Mexico (film version) [1]
This is the version used in the film. It ends as we see the bad guys arrive by train.

3. The Standoff [9]

4. Where The Hell's That Gold? [8]

5. The Train Wreck [10]

6. Bad Guys Arrive (discrete cue) [2]
This is the middle section of Track 1 (2:26 - 3:48) with a clean ending.

7. Bad Guys Ride Out (discrete cue) [3]
This is the last part of Track 1 (3:46 - end) with a clean start.

8. Bad Guys In Pursuit / Into The Hills [5]

9. Into Mexico [4]

10. Unused cue
You could call this "Bad Guys Watching / The Journey Continues" but I have no idea where it goes.

11. After The Storm / More Riding [6]

12. Mrs Lowe Gets Drunk [7]

13. Night Talk (Lane & Mrs Lowe) [11]

14. Farewell To Mrs Lowe [15]

15. Return To Liberty / The Trap [12]

16. Final Shootout [13]

17. Explosive Delivery [14]

18. Let's Go To Mexico (unused alternate) (different speed)

19. Explosive Delivery (partial retake) (channels flipped)

20. End Credits [16]

21. Let's Go To Mexico (unused alternate, take 5) (channels flipped)

Here is my attempt at identifying the tracks. The numbers in brackets are for the film order.

Main Theme (alternate1)
Film Version Main Theme - Robbers & Riders (1)
Get The Woman (9)
Where The Hell's That Gold (8) (missing string overlay for Pinkerton Man reveal at end of track)
The Train (10)
The Riders Arrive (2)
The Riders (I now think this is an un-used cue for the arrival of the riders on the train and them disembarking from the train so goes between 1 and 2)
Riders In Pursuit (4)
Stolen Mules (3)
A Little Late For That Now (The music in the film scene is quite different but this track could be an alternate for it. I could not find it used elsewhere) (7)
Not One Damn Thing (5)
Get The Whisky (6)
Last Camp Fire (11)
Saying Goodbye (15)
Riders & Robbers - Quiet Town (12)
Something New (13)
Throwing The Dynamite (14)
Main Theme (alternate2)
Throwing The Dynamite #2 (possibly the same but a pickup as it misses the beginning - better stereo balance in this version)
Her Name Is Lilly - With Two L's! - End Title (16)
Main Theme (alternate3)

Note this is not actually complete. There is missing music from the attack on the train in the desert and a couple of shorter tracks before and after this sequence. Might indicate there is a missing reel of the score. PS this is not a criticism of what is available here but as a fan of this score I wanted to detail as much as I can for fellow fans.

Thank you again bray for a fantastic find and incredible share. You are a god!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope one day the labels do this score and perhaps the missing reel is still about. Can't stop playing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO,this Dominic Frontiere's finest film score and I think a top competitor for the finest score ever to a John Wayne film. My favorite one, anyway.

After listening to this score and reviewing every post in this thread,I want to again thank bray for sharing this title and especially thank feedthecats for his excellent detective work in the identification and trying to piece together a film order of these tracks.
I've seen this film so many times that when hearing this for the first time,I was really confused, expecting to hear next what
wasn't to be. For me listening to these tracks in a chronological film order is a must. For anyone wanting that same experience,
I've renumbered and renamed all 16 tracks heard in the film score. The "unused" tracks are in a separate folder. All credit here really goes to feedthecats as he really made the job easy. His outstanding front cover artwork included. This in Mp3@256.

I've included a 6:04 overture as track 17 to this score by the City of Prague Philarmonic Orchestra(Mp3@320) to compare sound quality. You 2 gentlemen have really made my week. A huge thanks.
