A compilation, remastering and reissue from Disques Cin�musique, Canada, in 2012 [SOURCE (https://www.discogs.com/Victor-Young-For-Whom-The-Bell-Tolls-Golden-Earrings-Omar-Khayyam-/release/7731955)] for three movies released through Paramount Pictures and scored by the great Victor Young:


•For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943), a war film produced and directed by Sam Wood and starring Gary Cooper, Ingrid Bergman, Akim Tamiroff, and Joseph Calleia.


•Golden Earrings (1947), a romantic spy film directed by Mitchell Leisen and starring Ray Milland and Marlene Dietrich.


•Omar Khayyam (1957), also released as The Life, Loves and Adventures of Omar Khayyam and The Loves of Omar Khayyam, an adventure biographical movie directed by William Dieterle and starred by Cornel Wilde, Michael Rennie and Debra Paget. It was the final film to be scored by Victor Young and was released posthumously.

I’ve got the album elsewhere on the web with no “birth certificate”, i. e., no log- or cue files. I’ve checked the tracks with Audiochecker v2.0 and they passed the test for CD-DA.

Calderas [HERE (Thread 201937
)] has previously posted this album. However, it seems the sharing period has ended. As a huge fan of Victor Young, I decided to offer it again to the member of FFS.
