I am so glad that someone from Universal finally allowed these to be extracted from the vaults and presented. Six, maybe seven years ago or linger I actually managed to get a hold of John Cacavas himself on the phone. We had a wonderful conversation and I asked about the Airport '77 score and if he knew of a way to get hold of. He said he had a copy of the tapes on cassette! (Can you believe that?) After a couple of conversations he told me he had searched but he couldn't find it. He didn't even have access to Universal even though he had created the score. He passed a couple of years later.

Now, if we can only get the full session tapes for "Airport" and "Airport 1975".
