I need to know if guild wars is good, i have heard alot about it but still not sure if i should buy or not... helpful hints

Personally I wouldn't buy it, the game lacks the depth to keep playing it. If you liked Diablo 2 and look alikes, you might want to keep it for a while. I guess that's the advantage of not having to pay monhtly fees.

If you're looking for a good MMORPG, then you should not buy this game. Because it isn't a MMORPG. The game was never very attractive for me, it tends to get very repetitive very fast.

I own both, I play both. Guild wars like depth, but it's damn fun when it comes down to PvP :)

Guild Wars can be a fun game but it isn't a game that will take oodles and oodles and oodles amount of your time. It isn't based on the concept of finding rare weapons and camping monsters or farming or whatever. Instead, it is fairly straight to the point. The emphasis in this game is in PvP but it is a fairly balanced PvP system that you might enjoy if you have a bunch of friends that play Guild Wars.

Well it seems like only a hack n slash. So probably not for me, i need like smithing, rare item, and many different job class's with special purposes.
