If he runs away does he get full life back or does he still have the same amount of life he ran away with?

Pos

He has never ran away from me and I dont think he can.

But if he does my guess will be full life. As it would be pretty stupid if they gave him the same life he ran away with.

That would make sense.

Use triple and GF's

Lukey

Element Attack Junction + 100 Water spells.

Or Aura + Limit Breaks (prefferably Squall or Zell).

What about Irvine's Limit Breaks - AP shot and hyper shot

If you can get enough (powerful) shots, then yeah, he'd work, but the damage isn't always consistent enough to match up with a Duel or Renzo, and Cactuar usually runs away after you deal big blows to him.

Use Triple and Demi

Demi does not work against cactuar I dont think. You are best of with the meltdown aura/duel combo as Irvine suggested. the Char Irvines shots can be pretty crappy sometimes

duel's not really good for this battle. have cerberus auto-haste to squall then just use meltdown then squall's renzokuken with 100 water junction to elem atk, then have the other characters cast triple to themselves and cast water at cactuar, or maybe haste magic also.

No duel can be very useful. THe attack metoerdrive i think it is. (where he lifts thjem up and drops them down again) Can deal major amounts of hp damage.

No not that one.

It was not a special just an attack.

The combo was Up circle down circle

What i did was i had Revive (from Alexander) on Rinoa, Recover (from Levithan) on Zell and Darkside (from Diablos) on Squall.

I had a stupid amount of good magic on Squall's health and strength and used Rinoa to draw and cast Meltdown.

I used Zell to keep healing whoever needed it (but not Squall) or summon Leviathan and boosted it.

Then, when Squall was in yellow (i had the flame saber) i Renzokukened the cactus's A$$ off. Then, when he died, which he did a lot, i used Rinoa to revive him. Apart from that, i kept her in suspense in case i needed a fast revival.

That's what i did, and it worked. But it's really not worth the effort. You think you're gonna get something that's gonna OWN when you summon it, but it's crap. The only thing it's good for are the abilities. Kamikaze's one of the more useful ones.

thats the story with all GF's except Eden.they are only useful for abilties and junctioning.Limit breaks are the key to this game.

Yeah, Cactur is a slippy one. It does get quite annoying when his life is low and he does a runner. Use kamikaze on it when it`s life is nearly gone. Thats how i killed him.
