I got mine at a bootsale for a pound! I couldn't belive how cheap it was! The man said "oh yeah, it's like a pound for this pc thingy - i've never played it, and it's still in the sellophane"

I guess it's just luck if you find one really, i did see a couple go for about �30 on ebay though.

i got my copies of FF7 & 8 on pc from ebay (delivered the other day :D ) for about �12 each, sent straight from singapore to my front door. :P

and as for patches, just look on fileplanet. i think there's only one for XP.

i've been looking for it for a while now too, and i'm trying to find somewhere to get it where it isn't from ebay, i'd like to keep ebay as a last resort. I'm also in Australia, and i haven't had any luck :(... and i'm almost willing to pay any amount for the PC version... i already have the PS one.

If you're in the Canberra region, Ive seen copys of FF7 & FF8 at revolution CD. Look in places like that.

Bestdownload.com go there, download the ps1 emulator, the patches and everything, they also have the ff7 game, ready to download.

i'm in Melbourne here, and unfortunately i haven't seen it... yet. I'm still hoping. Crimson, i already have the original PS version, so emulation isn't a problem, but i don't really want the PC version to play, it's more of a collection thing, i just want to have an original copy. I'd love to get my hands on the Japanese PS version too, it's 7cds, but not many were made. i know someone who has it, but i won't be getting it off him, lol.

lol, i don't know, i'm not sure about it, i thought someone else might know more, i thought it was just longer, or something along those lines. the first time i played FFVII it took me 85 hours, but i did wander around a bit, so i'm wondering how much longer it could possibly be anyway... but that would still be awesome, i do look for gameplay in a game.

wow 85 hours, but then if you dont know exactly what to do, then it can take some time to figure out.

i completed it again the other day on the pc in 11 hours, but that was without some side quests and i didnt go back to the Gold Saucer after getting the submarine. :P

lol, well, i did the whole chocobo thing, took my time, and the gold saucer and i tried to do every side quest, and get all the enemy skills, and all the materia to master, and this was my first time playing it as well, lol, so it kinda explains it. i haven't played it in about, i don't know, maybe 4 years now, almost 5. i really feel like jumping into it again, and having the PC version would be good, since playing it on the PS would have to be done in the lounge, and that takes effort...

i really want the original PC version, i wish i could order it in somehow... i'm gonna try online shops, i haven't tried that yet!

yeah i want the original PC version, ive got the EA re-release version. (from Singapore, was quite worried when i got it as it said 'Asia-Pacific Version')

I also found this awesome joypad for my computer, it's exactly like a PS controller, just with numbers instead of shapes :P (�10!)

Hey fellas, I,ve recently moved to N.Z. from Coffs Harbour, Australia. I am also hoping to retrieve a PC version, any other versions, and any spin offs to do with the FF7 world. I thought it would probably be as easy as walking to EB games, and picking up a copy or possibly ordering a copy direct from Square Enix. Now I'm cut. LOL. F#CK. Oh well, I'll get a copy! You can't stop the Darkness.

Try downloading it from the net or buying it frm ebay.Its a guood place for forgottenor old items and stuff.
