Hey there fellow shriners, I got another Renegade Edit for you all.

This time, its the score to the film that not only made Steven Spielberg a household name, not only gave birth to the Summer Blockbuster Season, but earned legendary film composer John Williams his second Oscar for Best Original Score..., Jaws.

I wasn't a fan of the movie when I first saw it (I LOVE the movie now though), but I did love the score. Its adventurous, moody, engaging, aggressive, catchy, haunting, uplifting, all at the same time, and every cue is always a joy to listen, even if it is just a few seconds. And lets not forget that creepy yet kick ass theme that has been praised and parodied for as long as it's existed.

When Intrada released their complete version of the score, I absolutely loved it. The sound was great, it had the right amount of material and was presented really well.

So as a way to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the film, I decided to create a version that was different, but not too different, by doing that, I used a little bit of everything from the Intrada release to create a shorter version of it, fixed a little bit of the volume control, combined some tracks, and as a little bonus, added the song the main characters sang on the boat.

I'm not sure if I'll tackle the sequels or not, but you never know.

No Williams or Spielberg in the sequels, no bother. Williams may have done 2 but Spielberg did not. Spend your time on something better.
