If anyone can point me to a source for mlb and nhl production music, I’d be dying to find a place to start looking.

You need to have an account with a production library such as APM. In other words, they are not available commercially. Doing a Google search may provide a random location for someone who may have uploaded some, but they would be few and far between. I would have shared more, but I honestly didn't think there would be any real interest in these.
