Thought it goes in here, couple of questions

1. I imported mine from Canada, and obviously, it has a different power socket, would it be safe to use a English power socket in the PSP's AC Adapter?

2. I've heard theres something for LCD screens that removes light scratches or something, they look like dead pixels, but they are not (My sister smudged her fingers over the screen and now theres a line of stuff) I only have one dead pixel in the middle of the screen, which is okay.

3. It's pretty neat, eh?

1. NO. For the love of God, do not do that. You need to buy something called a step-down converter - you should be able to find them in electronics stores. Basically, I think England is like Australia - we have twice as much juice running through our system than the Americans (and Canadians). If you plug it straight in, without a step-down, you'll blow it up. I think.

2. An anti-static cloth should take care of smudges - not sure about filling in scratches, though. Try an electronics store, yeah.

3. Very. Another month and a bit until i can afford to import mine :(

Also: one of my friends imported one from Lik-Sang, and got hit with a $120 customs fee - luckily i'll be getting mine in a package marked 'gift', not 'electronics', won't I Smokey <3

Metal Gear Ac!d, anyone?

I heard crap.

Prove me wrong, because I want to love this game so badly :(

I've seen a little of Metal Gear Acid. Even though it's turn based it looks ok but I'm not too sure if I'd actually go out and buy it.

Dynasty Warriors is on the PSP, and besides you can actually control a game unlike that other handheld abomination.

Do not badmouth the DS. It has been redeemed by Electroplankton.

And of course, your opinion is valid because you've seen it being played.

I've seen the Mona Lisa, does that mean i'm a great artist?

I won't take away from the fact that anyone prefers the DS over the PSP, I don't like the DS because I think it has control issues due to the touch screen. I know that with the PSP I'll be able to fully control the characters.

Nevermind the fact that PSP has multifunctionality, movies, music, MPEGs, a USB port for your songs and MPEGs. But that's just my opinion, not to sway anyone away from choice.

Metal Gear Ac!d is okay, but the intro was so boring...

Static cloth, ill try that, hopefully what will get rid of some of this weird crap thats on the screen, Im not sure if they are dead pixels, they are white and some of them curl round, they came up just today.

Also this is probably a stupid question, and I think its impossible to do, but is there ANY way to get rid of some of these dead pixels, I heard theres a flashing movie of sorts that clears at least 2 off, if not ill survive, they are bearly visable when I tilit it in a dim lit room.

I've never heard of the dead pixel killer but what you've got sounds like dust under the screen, which is also unstoppable ;( If you find the dead pixel killer tell me.

Yeah, I took a risk and plugged mine in with a normal figure-8 english connection and it was fine.

I got 2 imported PSp's in my house. Luckily both are free from any dead pixels:) I got
1) Fifa soccar
2) Metal Gear Acid
3) Ridge Racer
4) Untold legends ( now traded in)
5) Wipeout pure ( now traded in)
I didnt want to trade in those 2 games but it wasnt really my choice:( Anyways if any1 gets Metal Gear acid please bear with it for the first hour(or 2) It is quite confusing to begin with but once u figure it out it is quite a cool game( in my opinion) There just isnt really any games out there yet that r what im into:( But this thing is super big, it'll all come, im sure of it:)
