This Amazing cover was done by PPKA, and I honestly have to say, I couldn't have done better. This is in my opinion the best cover for this set. So please give all the rep to PPKA for this cover. Also, Thank You PPKA for helping me upload this image. :)

I want to give a special thanks to DaUpp for providing me the material I needed to complete this project, Thank You so much. :)

Before I became a fan of film scores, there were only two composers I only knew a great deal about... Hans Zimmer and Jerry Goldsmith. Most of they're scores are fantastic and a lot of them I remember growing up listening to, like for Zimmer it was "The Dark Knight" and "Pirates of the Caribbean", for Goldsmith it was "Star Trek" and "First Blood". But in 2015, there was one score Goldsmith did that I have loved ever since I saw the film, but is sadly underrated... "The Ghost And The Darkness". It was the score that officially got me interested in film scores.

Ironically in the same year, Intrada released there set of the score and I instantly bought it and gave it a listen. When I first listened to it, it was great, but not as great as I wanted it to be. Actually there was quite a few problems with it.

1. The volume mixing was a little off, either sounding too soft or too loud.
2. They crammed in too much material, to the point where I started to get bored.
3. Some of the editing was off.
4. The overall presentation of the score was all over the place, like the track names and where the cues were placed.
and
5. There were some really cool extras on the bootleg complete score that were not on the Intrada release.

So after my fan edit of "Star Wars The Last Jedi", I decided to fix those issues and create the version I always wanted to hear, and I thought it would be great to share it with you all. I corrected the volume control, edited a few cues together and edited some separately, and added a little bit of Bass and Treble to give the sound a little bit of strength. I also made the sound a little bit more softer just to give it a more pleasant listening experience.

Also, the reason I called my version "A Renegade Edit" is because I didn't know what else to call it, since I wanted to name my version something that hasn't already been used, like Deluxe Edition or Definitive Edition. I'm actually gonna keep the name for future projects, just to deferintiate from other people's projects.

One more thing to add, I'd like to know what you all think of this set. I'd also like you to be honest of what you think, so if there is something that you want me to improve on for future projects, I would be more than grateful to take your advice.

So without further do, here is the link to the score:

Love this score. The Intrada CD is quite a mess indeed.

My only initial constructive criticism is that you spelled "bored" incorrectly in your post... ;P

Appreciate all your efforts, I know I will enjoy it!

The retail release of this is one of the earliest soundtracks I purchased when I was young, and I have a real soft spot for it and Medicine Man. Thank you so much the time and effort you made to assemble this new version!

Here is another amazing cover by DaUpp. It's simple, but just as effective as the first cover.

Please give rep to DaUpp for the cover.

Thank you very much I remembering going to the Theatres to see this and enjoying the film and music too couldn't wait for soundtrack to come out was very disappointed on how a lot of score was missing from Original Soundtrack Album and I like the INTRADA 2 CD version but it is out of order and messy.

That you see yet there/their you don't?
THERE = adverb > opposite of here > location
THEIR = possessive pronoun > mine, his, their(s), ...
