Really gettin' sick of about 10 minutes for one tonberry. And I just don't have the time for hours just to kill them for Tonberry King, since it's a Sunday

Well the quickest way to do it is aura quistis and use micro missiles while attacking with the other 2 as micro missiles is the same as gravija and will never kill them but seriously damage their life.

just have beserk on and keep slashing

Ahh, yep I have berserk will use. Oh and final question for this, if I exit the tower to save, will I have to start over killing Tonberries?

no you dont need to start again but get odin before attempting tonberrys

Odin does not attack until the time runs out which makes him a ridiculously easy boss to kill.

His attack is fatal he uses zantetzuken if u run out of time.

So shall I beat Tonberry King with the same tactic of using Mad Rush( Protect, Haste, Berserk on all members)?

No you need one person concious (none beserk) as his junk damage can do a fair bit of damage depending on our level

an easy way to beat tonberries is to always use squall's renzokuken. it would be great if you have his lionheart and he can do his lionheart limit break. to defeat king tonberry, you need to have squall's str to 255, his lionheart limit break, and meltdown magic. use meltdown on him and he should be real easy.

Hmm, so I need lionheart? That'll be hard, I need those Pulse Ammos and stuff. Could someone tell me where you get Pulse Ammos?

get bahamut's ability - rare item, then equip that ability to a character then fight ruby dragons(be prepared for the wrath of fire breath...) and with rare item equipped, you'll probably get some energy crystals which you can refine into pulse ammos by using ifrit's ammuniton ability.

Theres an easier way to get them without facing the wrath of breath.

If you go to esthar once lunatic pandora has passed over.

Go to the doc odines lab and then go down as you usually would on the suacer transporter device. Then go left and if I have directed you correctly there will be a man and he looks pure black. Speajk to him he goes HEHEHE and a fight with an elvoret will start. Do not! mug the elvoret and kill him you are guarented energy crystals. Leave the screen go back again and he will have reapeared. You can fight him unlimited amounts of times. Thus a never ending supply of energy crysatls. without the hastle of breath.

Ahhh..that's an awesome idea! But when Lunatic Pandora has passed over isn't that when you're in the Time Compression stuff? Cause I heard after the Seifer battle in Lunatic Pandora you can't go back in the game.

Btw how many Energy Crystals do you need for 12 Pulse Ammos? I'm in luck, all I need for lionheart are the ammos :D

No time compression happens once you enter lunatic pandora.

You need 2 energy crystals for 20 pulse ammo.

Lionhart is good, but you don't need it for beating the game. You don't need it for getting the extra stuff, either. But it is usefull if you have it, because it is powerful.

The ability you use is ifrits ammo refine mod.

I found a very simple way to kill tonberrys. What I did was come back after I had the airship, a little late perhaps but it worked, and put squall at low hp. He would limit break untill he got himself killed and then someone would cast life on him and he would revive at low hp, then repeat the process. It took me only a few minutes to kill each tonberry and only a few minutes more to kill Tonberry King. Also, make sure you have good junctioning (F.Y.I. if you ever see really amazing magic from a monster, draw it! Even from bosses.)
