Cold feelings, they bother you more as you age
You push the thermostat
Draw the blanket
Put a log in the fire

Cold memories are like that
You ruminate
Hide behind fashion
Waste your effort
But in the end the cold memories are going to come for you.

The only way I will ever like the cold
is if there's something deep inside of it
That doesn't hurt
