Thank you for the cover, Yahzee (http://forums.ffshrine.org/member.php?u=146735)

So this score was finally leaked in it's full form and I decided to do an edited version of it, mixing some cues together, deleting the long silences and leveling the volume of some tracks to provide what I hope is a better listening experience of this wonderful score. I have tagged all the tracks with their complete credits as appears in Zimmer's Webpage (http://hans-zimmer.com/index.php?rub=disco&id=1611).

Here you can check the tracklist with details and track durations.

Thanks, nice work.

Now do all of the cues you combined blend together in the film? For example, "Preparation Montage" crossfades with "Photograph" in the film, but does "You Have to Believe" crossfade/overlap with "Preparation Montage"?

Thanks for sharing this! Love that it's a cohesive listening experience. One question: did you have to re-encode this back into a 320k mp3 shell after you edited it?

Not all the combined tracks play together in the film. Some of them were put together because I thought were better like that. But for example, those you mention are actually together in the film (at least from what I remember of the Ultimate Cut)

I don't know exactly what you mean. I used the shared files in here, that were in 320k, then edited and exported them in 320k, and that's what I shared. I hope this answers your question.

I guess he wants to know if you recoded to flac...edited in flac...and then encoded it back to 320 again..or if you just edited the 320 format WITHOUT changing it to any other format in the process..

I used to do this. But then I learned: always transcode it to a lossless format and edit it in that format. Otherwise if you edit in MP3 and then export it in MP3, it just loses more and more quality. I used to think it didn't make sense and that transcoding it to lossless format was bonkers, but look at it this way: once it's in lossless, it's lossless. Prevents further quality loss.

Am I the only one getting an error message when trying to extract this?

EDIT: I just had to use an online extactor. Thanks and Rep added!

I didn't knew that. Thanks for the advice. From now on I will edit in lossless.

Yeah that’s exactly what I do. Some told me (I can’t remember who exactly) that when you edit in mp3 you don’t really lose as much as when transcoding it to lossless then editing just as long as you export and transfer the finished track into a lossless format. I’ve never noticed a major loss in quality editing in the original format than encoding first into lossless, but when transferring into mp3 after editing an mp3 I hear artifacts all over the place, mainly with headphones.
I’ve already finished my edit of bvs and it came slightly closer to this one funny enough, except a few including the final battle which I split up into 3 tracks and left ‘is she with you’ as a stand-alone track cause it’s just amazing!

Your work will be appreciated matey as the sessions or whatever you wanna call it is a bit messy with a lot of short cues. I like a nice listening experience, taking away any atmostpheric tracks out, or shortening them.

I did not forgot it. It was a short track and it wasn't really interesting (at least for me), so I decided to leave it out.
