you know that poem as been up for days and he hasnt done anything. It was a joke and I guess he is man enough to take it without getting all worked up over it.

In my opinion, the poem took little effort, which if the poster is to be believed, was the point. Poetry should not be used as a joke in itself, because people will never read it that way. It was read the way it should be read; and in this case, the poet was talking about a sword, an instrument of death, as though it were a woman.

The poem itself was also short, with no real depth, and ended abruptly with a 'surpise' that made the reader groan instead of laugh. So i'm afraid it not only failed as poetry, but as humour as well =/
