Hey guys,

Here's the new music for FFXIV Patch 4.2. There are a total of 16 new tracks in this patch. Outside of the 16 tracks, there were some songs I excluded since they popped up in the patch files but have been featured on other albums:

Siren's Song from Before Meteor
Freedom from Before Meteor
Unbreakable (Duality) from the Duality arrangement album

Some of the new songs appeared in the updated orchestrion list so I was able to tag them with their correct title. Others are just labeled with descriptors based on best guess. (The Dancing Mad songs, the new Papaya song)

There are a couple of tracks that don't have an orchestrion assignment nor I've heard play in game so I don't know the correct title for it, thus have been left untitled. One was also left as an ogg file since it was a multi-track file and they never convert well. Additionally, the Rival Wings song didn't have a high quality ogg file available so I was only able to use the low quality mono track from the orchestrion.

I was also able to use the orchestrion data to update track titles from the original Stormblood release if you want to use that data to update your files:

Kugane (Night) - Crimson Sunset
The Ruby Sea (Night) - Westward Tide
Yanxia (Night) - Mother's Pride
Azim Steppes (Night) - He Rises Above
Temple of the Fist - Their Deadly Mission
Ala Mhigo - Liberty or Death
Stormblood Title Screen - Prelude - Long March Home
Stormblood Boss Theme - Triumph

Thank you so much!

~b02f5933 is the Byakko phase 2 theme, which, unlike the phases 1 and 3 theme, doesn't have an orchestrion roll yet.

As for the .ogg, it's a remix of Hard To Miss, but other than that I don't know. Maybe it'll be used for Eureka's FATEs or whatever the Eureka equivalent will be?

Thx you! But credits for some songs are wrong, Iroha is a track from FFXI (not sure why it's in FFXIV since I stopped the game 2 month ago) & is composed by Naoshi Mizuta. Phantom Train Jingle & The Decisive Battle are originaly composed by Uematsu ^^

Quick question about some particular FF XIV tracks, I think from Stormblood. I'm looking for the track from the Interdimensional Rift (Prelude to the Void remix from FF V), and the Exdeath battle theme. I don't play FF XIV, so I have no idea what album or rip I'd find it in. Thank you much for any help! :)

Those tracks were from the 4.01 patch.

My deepest thanks, friend! :) The remixes here are of some of my all-time favorite themes of the incomparable Nobuo Uematsu, especially Prelude to the Void! IMO, FF V as a whole is some of his very best, most underrated work (like FF V is in general).
