What do you think was the hardest mission in the game?

hmmm showdown in the sands 4 me

where you have to defeat angra mainyu in the bikanel desert, and the probably the via infinito mission, where you have to go through 100 levels of floors, swarming with monsters, and defeating badass bosses at each 20th floor.

The hardest for me were the ballons in Luca! It took me like 30 minutes to find those guys behind that window. The second one was the spherebreak challange. I could never beat Shinra.

That one had me stumped for a while too, but for a different reason --- I didn't realize that there were two people sitting on the bench.


Other than that, yeah, the whole final Bikanel mission was hard and time-consuming. The Via Infinito too, certainly.

Luca baloon: Took me half an hour to find the guy at the stall to start the mission!
Bikanel Desert: That angra guy is way to hard. Even harder than Omega Weapon (who is getting easier by the minute!)
bevelle underground: Annoying as anything
Monkeys: stupid monkeys!

I think the hardest mission had to be The angry mainyu but finding all the Cactuars was pretty hard to.

angra mainyu was hard....Via Infintio, yeah, i guess. coulkd never beat Trema..he was really hard.. The freakin' monkey mission at Zanarkand,,,now that one was hard. it took me forever and i had the strategy guide!

For me the hardest mission was the Gunner's Gauntlet, it takes forever for me to finish. The Via Infintio mission is hard to, I can only get to level 70 after that I just can't seem to beat the bosses.

Via Infintio of course.

well via infinito is not that hard if your characters has a high level and equip them with a very usefull accessory.but the most important is the cat nip.

i just don't no what to say. coz for me, its really easy and i found no difficult by beating the bosses including paragorn and the last boss. i think his name is trema.really , no difficult at all

Angra Mainyu was difficult.. untill i trained- lvl up, problem solved, he was then easy. Now i never finished Via infinito but im pretty sure answer to it- like all FF's is simple. Lvl up. When stuck at boss, i just lvl up then boss = easy. So i believe no boss can be apart of a hardest mission.
Hardest mission thing in game is beating shinra at sphere break. Mostly because it rellys on a lot of random chance and... well its maths. :-\
Now u could say "well just train your maths skill n00b!" but i know as well as you it is easyer to fight simple monsters and lvl up then it is to improve your mental maths capacity, so therefore i think shpere break is harder.
Damn im really writing too much tonight, lol! :D

The hardest mission for me was to beat Shinra in the Spherebreak contest. It took me like 40 trys to do it.

Yeah Shinra that was the hardest misson, Angra manyu was easy! Now beating the damn kid... that was hard

He ALWAYS kicked my ass. And on top of that, the first time I beat him. I did'nt get the Treasure Hunt garment grid, so I had to start over.

And the stupid sphere core was always 1 i got so mad!!!! Stupid math mini-game, triple triad is way better

It look like we all got the same problems in missions...I think that there is no REALLY hard mission...

The monkey mission is boring, but it's not hard...

Angry Mainyu was far too easy if just you are lvled up enough...

The balloon mission took a long time for me cause I coudl'nt see the man behind the ballon seller(or is it a kid?)...

I like spherebreak so I just made a lot of combos(or what ever they are called)...

and at last the most time consuming mission in the game : Via finito...I really hate that mission...it's like I just want it to.............................I don't want to tell what I was about to write course i don't really mean, and I hate when other people does it...so plz stop it (just for me)...

But I like the game...but haven't played in months...many months see you all around!!!

the hardest mission for me would be the sphere break mission i hated that game

sphere break was easy. i was really good at it(of course, i am good at math, so maybe that helped) but, shinra wasn't that hard. i beat him on my third try. i had to start over because i could never get that garment grid.(finally did though)

oh, and by the way, it's called the Via Infinito, not finito.(maybe you made a typo). i liked the via infinito. it was a good place to level up. although, i HATED that SoB Trema. all enemies stop when you hit them, but NO!not Trema. ~mutters~: cheap bastard. i only know one person who was ever able to beat him.

i never seen trema before. is he the person when we first arrive in via infinito. is he the old man.

I think that the sphere break was hard as well.... the thing that stumped me was the fact that i could beat anyone but shinra. When i played him the first like 5 times every other core was a 1. So it messed up any chance at an echo bonus and then i asked my buddy for help, and when he went up against him, he only got a one like 2 times. It was so upsetting...

um....................what?

i was able to beat shinra on like, my 3rd try(i'm not trying to say you suck or that i am better than you. i just beat him on my 3rd try. it was like, pure luck too)

beating Shinra at sperebreak is only difficult because you can sometimes see multiple core = 1 !!! now that really sucks! g'bye echo bonus. All the math skills in the world won't help you now! If I get a core=1 more than once I just reload the game and hope for better luck. Stick to two-coin breaks, and if you don't get core=1, then beating shinra is a breeze.

i think the side mission of via infinito

the via infinito was the hardest mission for me as my characters were only level 40 wen i first went donw and got my butt kicked nearly all the time but after a while i managed to get the catnip and then it was a breeze.
