Well, i completed the game using every character except cait sith and i found the best 3 to be Cloud, Cid and Yuffie

Yuffie is such a great player! She is now my strongest and most useful character! Her ultimate weapon is the best in the game bar none. Did you know that it protects from confuse? and its power is determined on how powerful the monster is. Okay so her 4th limit sucks but i can get by with her lvl 3 one.

I used to morph the monsters in the underwater ship to get extra strength items etc, and when you fight the flower often you will die because he confuses you. But with yuffie that cant happen. Plus i hate ribbons as most people do, why? because you cant use fury on yourself =) (i always have haste shoes on all characters instead)

what do you think of yuffie? best character? i think so

Cloud, Red and Yuffie are all good characters, they have similar strength, vitality and HP, the only thing that lets Red down are his limit breaks.

Anyways yeah Yuffie is a good character!

I have used em all and still my favourite team is cloud, barret, & cid. I did have red in my team but his final limit break was terrible so i prefere to use a diiferent character. I like Barret because he is very strong and can give the team a long range weapon. Cid seems a good all round character so I use him.

i used to use barrat instead of yuffie for long range but i found that his ultimate weapon was weak. And you get the added bonus with yuffie of no confuse and 15 hits on her limit ^^;

I agree that Yuffie is really stong, and I would use her too if she had a stronger 4th limitbreak. How much damage does her third limitbreak do though? Isn't it called bloodfeast or something? Kind of like Cid's big brawl with 8 hits, right?

I think Cid and Barret are the most useful, second to Aeris of course. They have strong limitbreaks.

its more like omnislash - it hits 15 times, the attacks are weaker but when you have used her as much as me they take off 9999 each time

I found the most useful 3 Cloud, Cid and Vincent. Cloud and Cid have some killer limits, 15 and 18 hits. Vincent is also pretty strong, against all bosses except the weapons. With those 3 on a team, I can destroy emerald weapon in under 5 mins, no KOR.

Thats pretty good SSJ, but emerald is easy anyway. I went to my friends house and beat emerald without KOR with his lvl 77 average party. All i used was megalixers to heal, he didnt have command counter or anything, or 4xcut, it was pretty easy using a mixture of limit and summons/magic.

Also another good thing about yuffie is that she is very good at morping. =)

I know you had 99 Megalixirs at that point to right? if you know the W-Item trick, it is simple. One person uses a Megalixir all the time, but i beat them around that level to and i didnt even use Bahamut ZERO. I liked doing it because it was a challenge.

yea we had lots of megalixer, i think we mostly used Gravity spells.

Oh and another thing with yuffie is that you can get her ultimate weapon really really early, as soon as you get the submarine

Yes, Demi always does 9999 damage. I used that and Hades witch was good.

we were mostly healing, casting demi and using limits

The Only thing is that his timer is annoying but that is what the underwater Materia is for...

Ps: I cant remember what determines the dmg that tifa's ultimate weapon does? and I can still use fury on ppl who use ribbons/ maybe im bugged.

I always use Cloud, Cid, an' Red. i like Cid's venus gospel, and red has high mp.

I use cloud-barret-vincent

Cloud miming Omnislash, Vincent doing whetever (he's good at anything especially limits) and Barret Curing and attacking.

Notice that my two optional people are long range so I dont need to worry if I'm fighting an air enemy.

It is based on how high you limit bar is....that is why i don't use her because usually my enemies don't get a hit in well except for the weapons (Ruby got one hit, Emmy got 2 hits) of course i beat them with the cheap strategy.... kotr-mime...sephiroth is a different story before lvl 99 he died in 10 seconds(one-omnislash)....after i was lvl 99 Highwind, Catastrophe, and Omnislash then mime.....ok time to get on subject......

i think my party will consist of Cloud, Red XIII, and Yuffie....by the way which is better Earth Rave or Stardust Ray<---I think stardust ray is if you give Red a few hero drinks

so ya the best are Cloud, Yuffie and RedXIII

Cloud, Barret and XIII. Barret's a Long Ranger and his Limits are MEGA-DOPE (Specially Ungarmax and Catastrophe). XIII has good Limits as well, and he was a good all round Character to round off my team

i prefer earth rave to stardust ray. Earth ray looks alot better, and plus, im not sure if this is allowed, but im sure that when i was at gaias cliff i got reds limit up, i used the moon one that makes him beserk, then i got hit more and got another limit up, and used earth rave with his beserk on taking off 9999 each hit.

earth rave is one of the best looking limits in the game IMO

cloud-red-vincent good rounded team. used berret for a while, didnt like his ultimate weapon. u have to put all your mastered stuff on his. and ultimate weapons dont lvel up ap, which is kinda bad.

My team is Cloud Tifa Cid and my fav chars

Cloud seems to be the most usefuls cause he's always ready to open up a can of whupass on any foe.

all my chars lvl 99 and i defeated ruby and emerald without miming kor summon

I used Cloud, Vincent, and Cid..
Vincent's Ultimate weapon man..I don't play enough to get it to workin really good..so I used him as my magic caster..I got KOR and W-Summon equipped on him . I used cid to be a half summoner, half attacker..I use his limit break whenever I get the chance, and when he has silence or anything, I attack with him..with cloud i use added effect+hades, for an awesome combo of every slash giving the ultimate ailment to opponents..oh yeah, and cid has the Final Attack equipped to Pheonix, so he like never dies :D and when he does >> he gets revived !! :D:eye: :notgood:

Finally someone who has the same party as besides me and my mate Jon, but it has to be said they are pretty amazing fighters.

Yuffies just boring, Aeris............................................. .....sucks, Barret used for back up, Tifa used for back and Cait Sith whats the point in him hes like the Jarjar binks of the Final Fantasy world really annoying.

I always use Cloud and Tifa, mainly 'coz I like there skills and abilities. I also use Red alot for his balance fighting and magic skills. I'll probably use Aeris more in my next game (if I ever start another game).

The most useful would have to be Aeris, her Limit Lvl 4 is the best Great Gospil, that is just awesome.

i found that Cloud, Cid, and Tifa are the best, because they can all hit over 1000 on there limit breaks, but i like to use,
Cloud, Red 13, and Tifa.

Cloud!!!! he's the strongest and has the most powerfull Limit than the others.:D

Well, Cloud Strife does have the strongest Limits but Aeris has the best defensive Limits, she and Yuffie with her Clear Tranquil and Cids Dragon are the only ones that are not aganist you,

the most useful character, if u can get all her limits (very unlikely !!) is Aeris, her limits are awesome and shes the strongest magic user. apart from her its probably Cloud.

i like cloud (omnislash), tifa (final heaven), and the third character doesn't really matter to me. but yuffie iz strong as well.

Cloud is great and Yuffie's too....the third character should be Vincent or Tifa....

The most useful character is Yuffie. Her ultimate weapon, the Conformer is extremely strong against emerald weapon when she uses Doom of the Living (her second to last limit break) because she can do nearly 200,000 damage with 20 hits.

Does it hit 20 times? anyway, you guys sound like Yuffie is pretty strong though I haven't used her.

I think the strongest party is Cloud, Cid and Yuffie in my opinion.


Vincent's Death Penalty is really strong but since his Limit Breaks suck I didn't find it useful
