I'm looking for the Japanese CD release which is the same as the US version but it has two tracks (Lex Luthor's Lair and Growing Up) included mainly because I have a preference for the 1978 album

Thanks in advance

Hi guys. I do have this CD. I also have this on my computer in a wma recording. If someone can give me a step by step instruction (think Layman explanation) Ill try to upload this for you all.

That's wonderful. But I'm not sure if I can help you how to upload it. Could someone please provide Arcadia instructions how to upload files?

You must use an account in MEGA or Mediafire or in some other file hosting service, and then, provide to the forum the link.

@320

Thanks RDAF for the link.

Two songs are included in the 1990 japanese CD, that were on the original LPs but not on the 1st CD release, but I've made a search in www.soundtrackcollector.com and there are differences in times:

"Growing Up"

1:52 in original 2LP set (Warner Bros. 2BSK-3257 or Warner Bros. WB 66 084)
2:32 in 1990 japanese CD (Warner Bros. WPCP 3859)
2:32 in 2000 Warner Archives/Rhino R2 75874
2:32 in 2008 FSM box (Film Score Monthly FSM BOX 02)

"Lex Luthor's Lair"

2:33 in original 2LP set (Warner Bros. 2BSK-3257 or Warner Bros. WB 66 084)
2:54 in 1990 japanese CD (Warner Bros. WPCP 3859)
4:46 in 2000 Warner Archives/Rhino R2 75874
4:48 in 2008 FSM box (Film Score Monthly FSM BOX 02)

I have not taken into account the re-recording by John Debney.

Growing Up (2:05)
Lex Luthor's Lair ---> not on the tracklisting with such name

At this point, this is what I can say.
So it seems that the 1990 Japanese tracks are not exactly the same edits of the previous original 2LP album (maybe a mistake in the tracklisting duration anotation).
I don't have the chance to hear the LP...

"Growing Up" seems the same in the Rhino and FSM releases, but it seems it's not the case for the second one, "Lex Luthor's Lair".

That's all at this point.

NEWS:

I've just verify that the duration of "Growing Up" on the japanese CD is 1:56, so it seems the same that the one on the original LP.
And the same with "Lex Luthor's Lair", the duration on the japanese CD is 2:33, same as the one on the original LP.

The reason I was seeking the Japanese CD release due to the US omitted thise two tracks. I also have the 2000 album but didn't have enough space on my SD card since I have alot of soundtracks that take up space :D
