Haven't been back to ffshrine for some time. What happened to the server?

Now the webpage will randomly embed bitcoin mining script and takes up CPU resource significantly without user consent.
Also, some URLs will random redirect browser to malicious website.

Is admin aware of this issue? Or it is a new way to support this website?

Using noscript or so is definitely not the right way to get rid of this issue. If ffshrine server is indeed hacked by someone and got these ads and malware implanted, then the security of the username/password database is questionable. I highly suggest one to at least use unique random password to avoid potential data breach, so that even the account in this forum is stolen, other accounts will remain unaffected.

Also, miner script filtering plugin is purely blacklist-based, using antivirus software is better because they do better pattern matching job.

Actually, one of my old accounts on this forum that has weak password is compromised not long before :(

Hopefully they can fix this soon.....

Added the Chrome extension Anti Miner here, seems to fix the malware....
