Hey! has any one of you barely escaped death?

I have. A couple of times i was in the deep sea research centre. Those iron giants attack you nonstop.at one point, they killed all three of my characters
Fortunately, my phoenix pinion went into action. REBIRTH FLAME!!! Those iron giants took damage while my characters were ressurected. Cool huh?

Btw, this didn't happen once but at least 3 times

when they use that breath attack my whole party is devasted.

against those iron giants i junctioned blind to status attack, they are pretty harmless then. to finish them of i used squall's lionheart limit break and irvines shot limit, AP ammo is very effectiv against high vitality monsters like iron giants, i did 9999 damage with just one shot.

Yeah but at that time, i didn't have 100 blinds or doomtrain

Well the only time i have bben near death was against ultima weapon he used 2 light piiars then 2 meteors on the remaining char but i just heroed him and brought the other 2 back lol heroed them and then kicked his ass

I think I managed to survive by Phoenix against Omega Weapon once.

i survived from ruby dragons once with selphie's The End limit break. whenever ruby dragon blows out his fire breath attack, my characters just lost most of their hp.

I was fighting bahamut and it didnt look like i was going to win, Rinoa was the last person to be ko'd and i was like dam! but then all i heard was 'woof, woof' and angelo popped up and used angelo reverse on rinoa....can't remember if i won or lost that battle though...

my worst battle was against a marlbolle(i cant spell name)on island closest to hell.it was funny...it did bad breath and confused squall and zell ,then squall just went crazy then BAM got rinoa in one hit,luckily for me rinoa got revived by the angelo reverse,then zell attacked rinoa with a flare stone which killed her again,BAM!!! squall gets zell this time...marlboll does another bad breath...squall gets confused and used up my ONLY friendship item on himself he then ofcourse died...but then PHOENIX FLAME...woo woo!! i said but then the same stuff happen again except squall just attacked himself in the end.(and all that happened in like 2 min so when it was all over i was like"wut the fuck just happened here?")

I've only had one close call. When I was fighting Infrit the first time when I didn't really know the battle system and left the game on while I went to the bathroom and came back and went "HOLY CRAP!" All the other times Irvine saved my ass because Irvine kicks assness.

i had a close call with a malbro once. i had opened the battle by summoning cerebus. malbro then used badbreath. my squall was immune to berserk but not confuse. squall then used a tripple death and hit zell, irvine, and the final shot went to the malbro, it didnt kill him though. squall became unconfused and i used a mega pheonix on my party then came back to utterly destroy him.............untill he used bad breath again.............i did kill him. but i am left with a hatered of malbros on a new level. sorry i cant spell to well.

Fighting ultimacia, Zell was dead along with Irvine. Squall has 500hp.
Very close but i defeated her.

Pretty close call against diablos because my selphie was weak and i forgot to equip zell with a GF. Other than that, every once in a while ill get surprised by a marlboro.

only person left was squall on about 100 hp i tried again and again to use curaga but in the end i just had to pray for a lionheart and my prayers were answered. it was against griever

lol, my hole party died once on adel, sum bird rised outta the ground n saved me.. i dunno how i got it

Against ultimecia in her last form.She killed all my party but luckly pheonix revived me.Kicked her ass with Lionheart after that!!

well one time i was fighting Diablo and i was using the 3 girls they were all at about the same level (14) so in about 10 mins into the fight Diablo casts Gravija and my girls are all wounded. Afterwards he kills of 2 of them and am stuck with Solphie with about 20 HP at Lv 14. So I thought I was done, then he casts Demi and everyone knows it almost iimpossible to die from it. So I live and use Solphie's special to cast Full-cure and heal her. Afterwards I used the good-old Down to revive them. I did this for the rest of the battle to defeat him.

Against King Tonberry, i was one hit away from the win but the bitch used Junk and it killed Squall and the others, i was about to kick the ps, because i would have to kill every single tonberry's but the Phoenix appears, and i got my payback

Heh. Mighta saved ya' a bit of panic if you had known that you're allowed to exit and save in-between fighting the tonberries.

I thought if you exited the Centra Ruins the tonberry count would reset!!! Oh well no point thinking of it now

Common and unfortunate misconception. Totally wrong. I've done it before and I personally testify that the count does not reset. You can exit and save as much as you feel you need too, particularly when you know you're getting close to the fight with the big baddie.
