I didn't know this ballet, but you are right, Bob.
It's highly enjoyable!

Nice one, but I prefer the fruitier version by Stefan Solyom and the Staatskapelle Weimar that I shared here:

Nice one, but I prefer the fruitier version by Stefan Solyom and the Staatskapelle WeimarSo then, why did you let the .flac link for your upload expire?

The Guardian review quote that YOU used in your post leaves out this statement: “It’s not as good as Ivn Fischer’s Budapest Festival Orchestra recording on Channel Classics, which is more sensual and is marginally to be preferred,” and considering that David Hurwitz specifically mentioned (see my OP above) that the present Jrvi-Scottish recording is to be preferred even over the Fischer-Budapest, I know which one I'm going with - especially also considering that Jrvi-Scottish is the only one in Surround Sound.

Thank you. I've heard **OF** this but never heard it. I am looking forward to listening to it, and in such high fidelity.

Thanks again!

I let all my FLAC links expire after several months and after multiple betrayals won't post FLAC for new ones any more (excluding film music),.

And I left out that part because I think he was wrong. Listen to the Weimar recording and you'll see.
