hmm i think bahamut was kind of a challenge, but then again he was easy because i had my party at level 100 and with the best of junctions.

aside from him the gf's were piece of cake.

tomberry king i used kamakazie to kill tomberrys so i only had to chars to fight him with

The only ones I had hard times on were Bahamut becuase I had crappy weapons, but Getting Eden was pretty hard, I mean getting to Ultima weapon was hard enough but then having to beat it made it even harder.

Tonberrys just took the pee thats all.

But i found jumbo catuar hard all he ever used on me was 10000 needles

Can u junction water 2 your elemental attack?
If u can, then use aura and cast meltdown or doomtrain (if u have it) then use leviathan n limit breaks

Yes you can junction water but i usually just used leviathan. with selphie

Rinoa was going between limits (wishing star invincible moon) and summoning bahamut and auraing herself and squall.

Squall was usuing renzokuken but never onced used lionheart he always ueses blast zone and i hate that move

erm, i found that most of the GFs were not too bad to beat but if i had to pick one - it would have to be battling Ultima Weapon to get GFEden - just cos he continually used Light Pillar on me the b......! still i did use Heros though! ^^

Yeah eden was very hard to get. But strangely the first time i played the game, i didn't know bout GF's. I didn't read any of the tutorials and thought GF was another version of the card game. I only got about half way through the game though.

I can't say that any of them were really difficult. I guess I have to say the most annoying one to get was the tonberry, but that was just because I kept on underestimating those little bastards.

it is a long battle but it is worth it

i found cerberus really difficult the first few times i tryed to defeat him

cerberus is easy if u have one character with 100% thunder absorption because he cant hurt you then. because he only casts thundaga

cerberus was annoying to me just becuz the stupid triple,he'll usually kill evry1 but squall(lighting absorb)but it took a hella long time to kill him he did 3 thunders evry 10 seconds it got boring so fast

Best thing to do is if Squall was on a hundred persent give 2 people just one percent absorption they will never die and then you have two people to play with or even strecth it to 3 if you are using thundagas

i didnt have enough thunders to put it on 2 people...squall only had 2 percent absorb

Well yeah diablos will become harder as you level up as his attacks can quarter and 3/4 your life and his attacks are very powerful. Which is why I advise killing him early on.

With the running away of weapon. If you want the eden card you need to kill him. I assume you were talking about the ultima weapon yes?

No probs dont worry. As I said if you run you do not get the eden card which is very useful.

It can be done without but can hurt a vainful pride if you were trying to get a full set and you leave out eden as you couldn be arsed to fight ultima weapon.

i started a new game over not to long ago and my lvls looked like this Squall: 97, Zell: 75, Selphie: 73

i destroyed diablos in about 5 min

just junction a strong spell on your magic(Zell have Magic +60% Ability and thundaga junctioned which boosted his magic to 110) and just keep casting Demi on him,
dont forget your GF's either O:]

There is a downside to getting diablos later in the game u miss out on valuble items which can be gained by mugging.

As diablos has this ability. Also you dont get his card which can be valuble to getting you started

And Diablos also has Enc-Half and Enc-None, which a lot of users like to have available to them. So I agree, it's definitely preferable to get him early if you can.

For me Cerberus was a little tuff.

They were all pretty easy...but if you have to pick one, Bahamut happened to be a little bit more elevated than the rest in difficulty. Cerberus comes in a close second. Use of reflect and that one spell that breaks status effects usually fixes him though.

well actually it depends on how you look at it, if you keep casting demi on him it would be equivilant damage to the proper level so diablo is really quite the same difficulty no matter what level you are at

Yes but at an earlier level diablos also is a better asset on your team as well due to his enc none ability and also his time space refine. because once u have the minotaur or sacred card can never remember you can have 100 dino bones which then provide your whole team with unlimited quakes and a gud junction magic early on.

tiamat is incredibly easy...just cast aura on some1 whos limits hit multiple times(squall,zell,irvine) 1 limit shuld kill him before he has a chance for dark flare...(btw if you dont got eden when you fight tiamat then you can draw it from him)

Thats not possible as dark flare is a non elemental attack.

Well it did practically no damage to me either due to the vit stats i had on.

Yeah id say bahamut as well. I recently started a new game and just beat diablos EASILY.

MY squall was level 13, zell lvl 11 and selphie level 8. On top of that i FORGOT TO EQUIP ZELL WITH A GF lol. Zell also happens to be the only one who i equip with the item command so I couldnt revive anyone bcuz i forgot the damn gf haha. I was able to cast haste with selphies limit before she died and then it became a 1 on 1 fight. My hasted squall owned him pretty bad with renzokuken. :)

Diablos because when i was fighting him, the character's levels weren't very high. Jumbo Cactuar was sort of hard, but it got kind of easy. But the battle was long! Bahamut was sort of tough. And getting the Tonberry gf wasnt that hard. It just took a long time to meet the Tonberry gf.

um, you know that demi doesn't kill. it only takes away 1/4 of the HP.

TONBERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! beating that thing is really HARD!
i prefer facing dialos than that small creature

Diablos for sure.Due to the fact that your team is still weak when you get the lamp and he has about 9000HP.He's hard to wear down.

I think diablos when your at weak levels, but getting to Eden was damn hard

Tonberry himself isnt difficult.Its maintaining the willpower to get to him that's the real challenge.

the cacatur was not hard at all. It was on a school night i had already been fighting him for ten minutes and i said five more mintes. Thiry minutes later he died.

Diablo is pretty easy if you know a little trick ;), pretty old actaully you cast demi i think on him but don't draw it use your own and diablo will use curaga on your party.

try it out see if i'm lying, mind you im not 100% sure if its demi you use anyone remember what diablos draw was?

errrrrrrm can we get back to the subject and let the argument die down please =) , yeah i found the main fight with bahamut quite annoying coz like Shadow_Lurker said, i spent most of my time healing characters and that wasted turns for good attacks.

i changed my mind to diablos, helping a friend beat him with his characters at extremely low levels it took about a hour and if i didn't have cure or life i'd be screwed

I never had a problem with cerebrus as I has everyone on elem def thundaga he was a push over then.

The longer you leave diablos the harder he gets i remeber one time i thought just before i got brothers he had like 100,000 hp. the more you level up the more he levels up. eden was piss as was bahamut but the hardest was probably doomtrain i was leveling up for ages trying to get siren to learn that thing but it was worth it in the end. does ne1 now how to contact square-enix.

thats why i had trouble beating him, with attacks only doing 150-200 damage

Diablos was a little hard. I killed him in 2 tries (I battled him as soon as I got the lamp). Also, Tonberry King and Cactuar weren't hard, they just took a while to kill. I would have to say that Cerberus was the toughest for me.

GF's hardest to beat... hm... They were all easy, but if you ask the hardest gf to get I would say EDEN, Before I can do my first attack Ultima Weapon kills me... and my squall its at level 80, or something... I've decided to go on without eden, and when I have time I will try to get it...

Dipe..you cab srill draw him from Tiamat, it's better than kill him, anyways why do you think Diablos was hard?:s i never lost to him, and he never killed one of my characters i killed him after i reached Timber, not a problem, hardest to beat was Cactaur because of the Hp, and 10000 needles, the others were at ease
