my favorite has got to be shisho. he was so cool, using the fat of his opponets on his blade to induce fire. i would have never thought of that...

Sojiro. He kills and never loses his smile. Raw speed. A sadist. Androgynous. Comes from a fucked-up family. Damn, that is cool!

its going to be kenshin, we all like the way he fights. i know that people can use that style but its hard. i'd have to say that show shouldn't have to end, i demand that we the people;get new shows like that.

Well put, mondesto. You are the wondering swordsman from the east. Are you thinking about Kenshins swordstyle at home?

I think you're talking about Battojutsu. The style actually does exist, but I'm not too sure about Hiten-Mitsurugi-ryu. That might be just legend. The real Kenshin did exist, only he had a different name. The creator of Rurouni Kenshin drew his inspiration on another man in history who was small, calm, and at first glance looked like a female. Very cool.

Actually, Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu was invented for the manga. Also, Kawakami Gensai, who Kenshin was based on, never actually favored a quick draw technique (battōjutsu), but supposedly did implement it on occasion. He used an unorthodox stance for it at those times, which was adopted for the anime. I'm not sure if it appeared in the manga.

Okay. Technical clarifications are done for the moment, so continue the geek talk if you wish.

The coolest character is Enishi, because he's an uninformed asshole.
