Note: first off, it goes without saying that I'm happy to finally be able to throw away my own DVD-rips of the complete score to have this but I said it anyway. I have been wanting to buy and post a rip of this for a while now but haven't had the funds, however luck brought me some and here I am to present this to you all today. No disrespect meant to another uploader "mosche" but this needed a cleaner rip to fully enjoy. Their rip held me over but this is what I'd been waiting for.

This is the cleanest rip I've ever been able to do. Apart from a few spots in The Raft tracks, this is presented AS-IS as it was ripped and I think it's good enough to listen to regularly, unlike most vinyl rips I hear. I had to apply a little click reduction in one track due to a scratch in the platter that caused unavoidable clicking, although luckily it wasn't enough to totally damage the sound but other than that, this rip is just as I ripped it.

Waxwork Records is sending me a replacement record at some point due to the scratch on mine so I will hopefully be re-ripping all of The Raft tracks on side C again (without the click/pop filtering) relatively soon. Even though it sounds fine as it is, it bugs me because I know I did it and considering the rest of the set hasn’t been tampered with, I have to fix it so as soon as they send it to me I’ll get to work re-ripping those cues. I appreciate your patience and hope you’re enjoying it as it currently is.

The replacement record should be in tomorrow, just in time for the “big day”. :) Hopefully I’ll get in time to rip before work.

I did a completely new rip today that I’ll be uploading tomorrow. Since I ended up really liking this score more than I ever would’ve guessed, it plays pretty frequently on my iPhone. With that being said it needed some slight clean-up (pop/click removal) for my own further enjoyment. My use of the pop/click removal tool was very restrictive and only used when necessary. Some other noise couldn’t be removed so I left it as is. I’ve played this version until I’m honestly burned out on it for the season but I’ve pinpointed and fixed any issues that bugged me. Mostly every single one, which became very time-consuming.

After comparing my rips and mosche’s, I would like to know what caused theirs to play so slow. I wonder if they turned on the 45rpm switch before recording because it plays as slow as a 45 rpm record playing at 33 rpm.

Has anybody else had any issues opening up the .rar? I have used 7-zip countless times without any issues, but this one keeps giving me an error that says the archive cannot be opened. Just curious if anyone else had a problem unzipping it.

This rang a bell so I just gave it a try and got the same result. A while back I had the same thing happen with another file from Mediafire that others seemed to be having no problem with; I suspect that some of their servers are malfunctioning. The non-working files I got came from download947.mediafire.com and download1509.mediafire.com if anyone wants to compare.

EDIT:
I stand corrected. My problem was caused by a compatibility conflict between WinRar and 7-zip.
