My first public share. I came across this record from my collection while I was digitizing more of my personal collection. As far as I can tell, no one has put this up before. Anywhere. Can't find any other way to get this album. Thought this might be a great experiment to see how well I do with sharing this to you all. Apologies about not posting the cover in this post, I can't seem to figure out how to put a cover up. However, the cover is in the folder, along with pics I took of my LP and the jacket.

Since this is my first public share, please feel free to critique how I did. Leave comments and keep the thread alive. Rep and rate is appreciated too. If the link goes down, let me know. This is my first time using Mega, so not sure what to expect with it. Enough encouragement and I might be tempted to share more of the LP's I have that I can't find anywhere else.

My own rip. Ripped at 16/44khz converted to FLAC. I hope you enjoy.

That's a pretty good effort and a rare LP for your first share. Thanks very much for making this available and I hope you'll share more of your vinyl.

Very cool, pretty good first share. You say you ripped it at 16/44 and then converted to FLAC....what format did you originally rip it in? I always rip in 24/96 FLAC and then downconvert to 16/44 and share that one. But it's always best to rip in the highest quality you can.....because why not?

Edit: You actually ripped it at 24 bit, not 16 bit

It's kind of strange. My hardware is supposed to be able to do 24/44. But the software I use says it is 16/44. I was hedging and decided to underestimate since that's what software said. I'd rather announce low than high if I got it wrong. I don't have anything that tests it, so I went by the lower number. Glad to read it is the higher number :)

During the opening ceremonies the newscasters were astonished by this music... it was the first Olympics with an original score.

The composer has recently been rediscovered... his piano concerto from which most this music was taken
has at last been recorded.
