According to Rewind (http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=20630) most of the BD releases have the isolated score as an extra.

Actually it was once uploaded (with dead link last time I checked) in the Isolated Scores thread:

... and here we have it: The isolated score for Chariots of Fire. I don't know if i have heard any scores that are quite as uplifting as this one. The main theme makes you want to go out and run. Rightaway. Abraham's theme (here present in the tracks Lost and of course Abraham's Theme) is quite romantic and very beautiful. If it fits the persona of Abrahams i leave it up to you to decide. The theme for Eric Liddell is almost as heroic as the main theme and we first catch a glimpse of it in the track 200 yards. It comes to full in tracks 16 and 17: Eric's Theme and Glory.

What to say more about this isolated? It's short (at 28 minutes) so if you were expecting more, get the excellent official release. Also i would say the official release is more orchestral. This is (i think) only synth driven. Not that it's a bad thing. If you watch the film, you will not notice it as much as if you only listen to this isolated.

Sit down and listen to this one. It will only steal 30 minutes of your life. Or rather, sit down and watch the film if you can spare another 1 hour. The music is inspirational, but get the film to accompany it and you have something that's almost a classic.

Tracklisting:1. Chariots of Fire (3:05)
2. 200 yards (1:06)
3. The Bravest Quarter (1:13)
4. May the Best Man Win (1:01)
5. Lost (1:29)
6. Another 2 Yards (0:25)
7. Training (1:53)
8. Honoring the Sabbath (0:54)
9. The Yanks Train (1:39)
10. Lindsay's Race (1:08)
11. No Running (0:31)
12. The Sermon (1:47)
13. Abraham's Theme (2:11)
14. 100 Meters (2:52)
15. Victory (1:03)
16. Eric's Theme (0:43)
17. Glory (1:55)
18. End Credits (Chariots of Fire) (3:07)

Total Time: 28:02

But only now I realised that the film was distributed internationally by our beloved 20th Century Fox...

I wanted this score so much. Too bad Fox distributed it.

What are you guys talking about? Chariots of Fire is WB. Unless for some reason Fox owns the rights to the music (which is highly unlikely), it can still be posted.

In the United States, it was released by WB... but internationally, it was released by 20th century fox.

I just did some research, WB owns the rights to Vangelis' score. So we're good.

I just did some research, WB owns the rights to Vangelis' score. So we're good.

The matter isn't if Fox own the rights to the music or not.
Everything Fox in insolved in, in every single level, bigger or smaller it may be, from being the main studio producing the film or simply doing international distribution, is forbidden here.
Thus, this score is forbidden.
