Well, !!!!! already did it, but I was already on my way to finishing, so I did just that.
There isn't much difference in quality between my rips and his really, just the song length, tags, order and cover art are different.
I went and stylized the tags akin to the first two Sonic Adventure games as you can see Right Here (http://vgmdb.net/album/1643), and added my own little twist to the names, hope it doesn't stray too far from what the Tee himself would name them. LOL!
I used the cover art from the collectors edition, but I couldn't quite match the color and reflections, so you're free to make your own, more accurate version!
I'm contemplating uploading a flac version for the sake of archival, but the source files are so low, I don't think it's justified. Who knows, I might with enough requests, especially if the real soundtrack doesn't get here soon.

IT HAS BEEN EXTRACTED! Enjoy the sounds! Just drag it onto the same folder you have your music right now.

I recommend you use replaygain if you have sensitive ears, this is loud, it's damn good music though.
By the way, Song "2.27 - Peril" is actually the "Continue Jingle", I've just never gotten a game over, thus had no idea what it was used for, rename it. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know.
Anyways, enjoy!

This one might be fake, because it doesn't have the custom endings, and it sounds different than the one from tee lopes channel, I don't know though. The source is right in the downloads .txt file

Though, the spectogram is surprisingly clean. Here is a file to compare them, some of the tracks are even longer than mine, depends on the track!

This is way worse than everything which has been released so far, and I wonder why.

First, the tracks are way shorter than the ones I downloaded from the previous rips.
Also, it's way more compressed.
Here's a comparison shot (original ost on top) =>

It's not your fault, it's just that as usual, they butcher the so-called "official" soundtrack, and rips are better quality.

Edit : my bad, this is a rip too and not the official ost. :)

Strange, since this IS a rip. Unless you meant compared to an in-line recording. I got these right from the source, which is to say the .rsdk archive.
Loudness is a fault, as !!!!! has mentioned himself, and I didn't want to mess with the audio itself. I looped each track at least 2 times, so some songs are shorter and some are longer. I didn't want to prolong the length any longer than it needed to be, so if the song originally had a short loop, I kept it as that in the loop, instead of looping 4/5 times, etc.

To add to it, the source files have more treble, and the "Menu" song has a bit of a scratch to it, almost like a binary beat is inside it. Very very weird, sharpess is definitely higher in the source files, even if clearer in quality. The other rip has less clarity, but it doesn't sound as painful when heard at the same volume.

Strange, but yeah, the vinyl sounds different as well. I wonder if Falk did any extra mixing to fix it last minute. Just WHAT is going on backstage....?

You're right.
The one I downloaded a few days ago might have been a recording from the console itself. (I can't find the link... grrrr)
Yeah, even "!!!!!" mentioned how loud it was, it's too bad.
I don't think you could do anything to improve this, unfortunately.

Note that I didn't criticize the rip itself. (some people are starting an argument with me on another page because of this)
The audio quality you provide is the best we can find.
I only say that I preferred the console recordings. :)

It's too bad that apparently, the vinyl will be missing lots of songs!
But anyway I'll try to get it when it comes out.

Yeah! Don't worry about it haha. I understood your confusion, since my ears rang a little bit while hearing it, even the videos the official sonic YouTube channel made don't sound quite this loud.
Look at the video below, it seems Tee/Falk didn't have time to polish and shine, so Tee Lopes uploaded the FINAL final version a bit late. Give it a listen!

Tyrael, see above as well. Do a comparison between the game version I have and Final version that was finished, there is a difference, especially near the end loop!
Those bells are more pronounced and this sound spacing is more spread out and more "open" with the instrumentation being a bit easier to make out and the high frequencies having been mellowed out a bit.

I haven't downloaded the vinyl version available here, so if it's fake, then I'll believe you. To my knowledge it wasn't ripped yet, though I may be wrong.
I'll look for it and compare in a bit! If you can link it, that would be just great.
Cheers.

Holy crap that thread. I'm cracking up, what even. The vinyl isn't EVEN OUT, so that's why I was questionable.
My lord, not to mention his post raises so many red flags

I'm a bit curious on what IS included though, my guess is YouTube rips or something.

Updated! It should be 100% now. As always, let me know what you think.

Added the supposed "Official" version. It sounds softer, and less loud than my rip, so that might be good, but the clarity is ever oh slightly muddled, just a tiny bit. It's also lacking the custom endings for some reason, which raises a red flag.
It's also 48kHz so it might be vinyl?

Okay, turns out these ARE official, it's the digital version of the download. I'm just wondering why it sounds SOFTER compared to the game rip, I actual prefer how the game rip has more clarity, but the softness is also nice, this is seriously bothering because even Tee's Youtube uploaded sounded like it had extra things added in, some improved soundstage, and custom endings especially for this.
Maybe it's my placebo, maybe it's a digital version OF the vinyl, but not a native digital version which tee uploaded(?); that could be it.
This might be a ruse, but the sound files are very different from everything we've gotten so far.
Damn, I'm at a loss.
