Can someone tell me some tips on how to beat him?

Watch his magic fields. Hit Norg, when these fields are green or yellow. Hit these fields when they turn red, because then they'll change back to green. If not he's going to use powerful magic etc. But he won't do much if you keep them in the green/yellow area. Watch those fields and Norg won't be a big problem.

And I think you can get a GF from him too.....don't forget to draw this one from him. ;)

Yeah, and as far as I remember, he's three fields you can attack (don't know how they call). But it is something on the left side, Norg is in the middle, and another field on the right side. The fields on the left and right side change their colours.

.....I think you need to attack Norg for a while until he's changing his form....can't remember very well, sorry....

Aerith Gainsborough's referring to the orbs --- just look at him, there should be these orbs on the left and right. Just keep hitting them and try to keep them green or yellow and not red and otherwise just have at the main the main body with your best magic, limits and attacks. Not really too hard a battle as long as you don't let those orbs get out-of-control.

what i did was just attack norg. i didn't do anything with his orbs because they're nothing but extras. i just attacked norg's shield that covers him until norg comes out of the shield. then i just attacked norg with magic, limit breaks, and some gfs then he's gone like the wind. of course, don't forget to draw out leviathan. he's a good gf with the power of water.

Yeah, rinoa_heartilly's right, if your characters are strong enough, then it doesn't even really matter if you mess around with those orbs. Just pound him hard and he'll be dead quick enough.

There are two main methods I know of for beating Norg. the first is to have two characters attaking the orbs to keep them blue while the other pounds Norg himself. the other method is just to summon Carbuncle ( who will reflect Norgs magic back at him) and use all three to attack Norg.

I think the first method is safer, but either way keep the orbs at the Blue state to prevent Norg casting magic. also don't forget the Gf or Mug items, but his guy is a piece of cake really, I beat him 5 times in a row ( but thats another story)

Don't forget to draw Levaithan (did someone say that) you'll need it if you want your Cataur GF.

I do both, just to be safe. Also, I could be thinking of another boss fight, but I think Diablos works pretty well.
