That is quite a cover art up there. At first I missed the "Magical" bit of the text and I was like what the heck?!

I haven't heard this score or the film yet, but one doesn't simply pass over some JNH. Thanks for the share JARROTT!

Amazing. It makes you wonder how many times he did re-write some cues

According to the 3 pages of the main titles I got, there's 36 versions. James said he tried several ways to link Hedwig's Theme to his own music and some of these versions got into the film. Also, JNH send Yates demos of the score so he could edit the movie so unlike the last two Potter films, there was no temp tracks, it was all James's music.
The final score on the film and CD is the result of the 7 months James worked on the score, which it explains why some themes appear on certain moments of the film and others dissapear. It will be interesting to see how James will develop those themes in the sequel.

Also, one of the demos has the choir singing Hedwig's Theme, which it's cued on the sheets pages I got. Apparently, the full sheets have 65 cues.

Nice, thanks for the share.

Interesting to hear how certain cues developed before they got finalized & put in the film.

Yes indeed! I really like the fact that he really reveals his process when writing scores (but for beasts especially)!

I am still very interested in hearing these, please! :) Were they simply YouTube rips of the audio from his recent masterclasses, or high quality demos that JNH actually submitted to Yates?

If anyone could re-upload or DM me a link, that would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
