So what cd or music related "thing" did you buy lately? Mine would be this cd by Eisley. It's called "Laughing City" it's pretty good. There's five songs in total. They play in the following order; I Wasn't Prepared, Telescope Eyes, Tree Tops, Over the Mountains and Laughing City. Overall it's a pretty good cd. So like I said before what did you last buy that is vaguely related to music?

I bought The Mars Volta's "De-Loused in the Comatorium" yesterday. I was quite surprised to find that the lyrics make even less senseon this album...

I recently bought the re-issue of 'You're Living All Over Me' by Dinosaur Jr. Bloody awesome album, I strongly reccomend this album to anyone who likes guitar-rock.

"Get Lost" by the Huntingtons, "Wild Like Children" by Tilly and the Wall, and the reissue of "My Brain Hurts" by Screeching Weasel, which is amazing because the original was horribly low quality and it's been quite heavily improved!

recently enough :

Michael Jackson - Thriller
some Madness best of (everytime I go to the 3 for 30 pile i feel like I have to get three albums, even if I don't really want them. Otherwise I wouldn't be getting 100% value for money. those superstores aren't going to rob my money)
The Von Blondies - Pawn Shoppe Heart
The Presidents of the Unites States of America - Love Everybody
The Fall - The Frenz Experiment
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Trouble Water

I think that's all of them.

Only just bought it? Also this cant be possible, Track 3 of Frances The Mute is sung almost entirely in Spanish !

PM me if you want explanations of the songs btw.

Anyway not much to be honest, but did purchase a single by The Rapture - Out Of The Races and Onto the Tracks.

I just picked up...

A Static Lullaby's new album Faso Latido and its fucking ownege! The song writing on this one has alot more to offer than their first album. The old album I wouldn't recommened to everyone mainly because its a hardore/melodic effort with screamy undertone. This one however is a combintion of Indie, Ska, hardcore, Punk, and metal. And Dan the singer/guitarist owns the vocals on this one like non other

And also...

The new Mars Volta. I bought this on a fluke just because it was cheep and I had some left over record store credit from trading in some old crap. I havent yet got a chance to listen to it but it doesn't sound half bad. I do think they tried to milk their choruses more than usual.

The last two CDs I bought were Adam Cohen - Self Titled. And Tori Amos - The Beekeeper.

Both are excellent. The Beekeeper is better though.

I've recently bought a copy of Miles Davis' 'Kind of Blue' album, and I must say it is a fantastic album, just one of those albums that you can truely lay back to and just chillout to. You don't have to worry about guitar solos, or lyrics. It's just some brilliant soul-resting Jazz.

Yoko Ishida - All Of Me CD album (Yes, it's a Japanese album released in the US by Pioneer/Geneon.

I got it mainly for the first track on the album - Open Your Mind ~ Spread the Small Wings - the opening theme to the new Ah! My Goddess TV series.

It even includes a bonus mini-DVD on the album which has the Japanese video clip to Open Your Mind. Good stuff.. :D
