Aeris died?

Probably a question asked before. But, I'm interested in knowing. Personally, it didn't affect me that much at the time, but at the end, when I Omnislashed Seph, I sat there, screaming at my computer, "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET YOU DAMN MOTHER F***ING SON OF A B****! YEAH! MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

i was gutted. she was my 2nd character.

a little suprised, but not sad. I kind of choked a little next time i played, but thats because she was one of my best characters

Did you know that if you don't have Omnislash... you automatically get it in the last battle?

I found out the first time I beat the game...

The duel between Sephy and Cloud was my favorite part, especially if you don't use the limit...although using the limit is more interesting, having sephy getting killed with a counter attack is funny.

Well I kinda wasn't very suprised because one of my "friends" told me that she would and that i should not bother putting her in my party so it really ruined the game for me. He also told me that Tifa would die so i should't use her. damn lier!.I did feel a little upset but the worst bit was when cloud dropped her into the water thats when it really sunk in that she was gone.

I didn't think! I'm sorry guys! I didn't think about it! It won't happen again!

I think that it would have been cool if they did have a way to revive her and if she was in your party at the time you defeated sephy.....she would say something like.....Now what B*t^h you can't kill me(somewhere along those lines)

I understand why Aeris had to die. It was vital to the game. If she hadn't, then Meteor would have destroyed the planet. But..... what I don't understand is this.

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST USE A DAMN PHOENIX DOWN ON HER?!

Well.. I edited the thread's title, ofcourse.. o_O

They didn't use a Pheonix Down because that can only be used to cure unconciousness @_@; When characters get to 0 HP in battle, they're not dead but unconcious. XD

You know I have never been so attached to a character before. When I first played this game, I thought it was great, the whole chase around the guy in the black cloak. But when Aeris died it hurt man, I lved that girl. It wasn't fair. What also sux, is that you can never get her back unless you use a game shark. It pisses me off, but the game wouldn't be the same with out it.

I was suprised at the fact that somebody was going to die. I never expected it. o_O I was a little bit more silent then usual when good old Sephi stabbed her, but that was all. I didn't feel really sad for it, and she just annoyed me with her happyness anyway o_o

I just felt like complaining heheh.

I really never used her, she has awesome Limit breakers, maybe the best, her Great Gospil was just mindblowing. I never was killed. But then that happened and it sucked because she was awesome.

Aeris was my favourite character so I was gutted. I hated Sephiroth for that!

it dint really affect me, but during her death and the battle after, i admired the developers ways of creating an envolving atomosphere.

Come on!, Aeris was a good character, but if she never died, you woulden't be able to shout I hate you, you stupid little f**k at Sephy would you?

I was upset but do wish you could revive her but she should stay dead. If she was able to be revived it would take a BIG chunk of the story out.

i think weve gone over this before...
some people thought that they would rather have aeris in the planet to stope meteor rather than having her in your team. also, if you had had her in the final fight, you would probably have gotten her "great gospel" limit break, and completely bashed sephiroth into the ground every 6 attacks against aeris. invincibility had a small price in the game w/ aeris.

other people thought it was too sad that you cant revive aeris, that she should have been revived somehow.

then a few people brought up the japanese version about how you can get aeris back in that, and theres an alternate ending. (i really want to know what happenes there, btw, some1 plz tell us if they have seen it.)

i personally was using her in my main group, and i level up too much, so i was at level 57 w/ cloud, aeris, and red XIII. Everyone else was at level 45 when i lost aeris... *sobs into his keyboard* its not fair!!! its not faaiiir!!!

Anyway I kinda choked when it happened but my friend had already told me about it :mad: When he told me about it it was like"cool hehehe" but when u see that scene it just.............................yeah u guys know wat Im talkin about. Anyway that was a time where you really should have been able to fight him ya know? Let some of that anger out.

I was frightened. She had almost all of my good materia. But none was lost.

I was sooo~ sad :(

Aeris was so nice and full of life... She was the last person I'd want to see dying...

I HATED SEPHIROTH! Aeris is my 1# favorite video game girl! (Other than garnet of course, who IS my number 1 fav. ^_^) And I totally hated that jerk!...But as years go by, I like him more by the day...must be because I'm a lot like him.....but still! I don't kil sweet and innocent girls! Bah! That jerk!

...In other words, if you havn't told from my rather outraging post, I was extremley sad, and saved the game where you go on a date with her....because it's just about the best part in the game side from every other part in the game (except her death...)

......So if you're still confused, I WAS VERY SAD! AND THE GAME IS STILL THE BEST GAME EVER!
