Ehm, excuse me but i know this poll may have been posted like sometimes, but i want to know your opinions.

I just give an little update..

What Final Fantasy X Game did you like (prefer best) And why?

I think that FFX was the best because everytnhing there was like more serious, the character was serious, like Yuna, but In FFX-2 Yuna was a little different (Immature in a way) Wierd wacky songs, bad boss songs etc... The Battlesystem on FFX-2 was confusing but i can handle it, i think ffx-2 should have more players instead of rikku yuna and paine.

But don't missunderstand me i like ffx-2 i just give out my opinions like everyone else here..

I had to say FFX-2, but my opinions are pretty unreliable. I always seem to like the FF I most recently played the (except for IX which will always be my favorite) most, and since I played FFX-2 most recently I prefer it. I just liked how htey don't need to really introdue all the characters to you, you're expected to knoe them so the game got moving along quicker, also many sidequests to do and a MUCH better ending (assuming you received the good/perfect ending). I liked how it had more of a comical aspect to it, kind of like Vegnagun is going to destroy the world but it doesn't matter because Rikku is picking up chocobo feathers. Just made me laugh, both games were completely excellent though.

I don't know, I like FFX, because of the customisation of weaponry, and everyone can learn the same abilities (except summoning) and I liked the fact that you can control your summons. FFX-2 was a bit of FFV trying to be mixed in, and FFV is one of my favourite games! I don't know on game play, but I'm going to say FFX, because FFX-2 is a bit more like a puzzle game than an RPG, due to amount of going to a certain area again, and again, and again, and again...... ad infinitum

FFX-2 was immature? I thought it was more cutsie, maybe not as serious toned as FFX was but they were both about equal to me as far as how much I liked them...I was crazy for neither of them, not because of the cinematic aspect of the games, but because of the gameplay aspect. FFX-2's system was a little too complicated and clumsy. FFX just didn't have a very fun battle system to me (except when it was time to use summons which often was pointless most of the time). Of course I also never cared for the leveling treadmill part of the FF formula. It's impossible to progress through FFX without at some point, hutning mobs for exp. Some people may like that but I think it's just a way for SE to say, "Look at all the hours you got out of this game" when most of it was spent working on characters whose stats are going to be useless once you beat the game.

FFX cuz it's more serious with the story unlike FFX-2. i think they were just fooling around in FFX-2. plus, all the fmv scenes are awesome and highly cool! plus, ffx is more romantic than ffx-2, especially the spring scene. in ffx-2, yuna and tidus just hugged each other. cheap! isn't there a kiss? plus, the ending that everyone was trying to get aka the "perfect ending" was just nothing but an additional cutscene that is not an FMV, which is not worth the time. FFX'S ending is dramatic and awesome and worth the time.

dresspheres are okay, but sphere grid is way better. they should have a little more better storyline than now. the game doesn't even answer some of the most confusing questions being asked right now. like, why does shuyin and tidus look alike? what really is the connection between yuna, lenne, tidus and shuyin? nobody really knows the answers....... except square-enix......

watch this scene again and look in the lower side of the picture/movie. you'll see that the waterfall is not working and it's staying still. the third time i watched this clip, i noticed it and i frowned as i finished watching it.

Hmmmm Final Fantasy X is better that X-2, still There are some good things in X-2 like graphics, music and... nothing else!
Final Fantasy X's story was a SOLID story that needs no comments instead of that FFX-2 has a horrible mission sistem, at leaste Square Enix could add a Mission panel to show you what missions you have already done.
Characters... OMG hwo decided to make Shelinda a reporter, at least they could have changed her clothes, that can pass but the worts thing is to see the Zanarkand kids in Luka in the minigame in Chapter 3, suposedly those kids would be ancients. In my opinion that's something unforgivable.
The battle sistem SUCKS, I mean ATB might be ok in games like FFIX but the X-2 version is baaaaaad, HASTE WORK JUST A LITTLE, if you are hitted when preparing a spell it takes a long time torecover, a time that makes you characters lost a considerable amount of time.
The music... some songs are ok, like real emotion, but others are disasterrific, like rikku's theme or Secrets of Bevelle. Wiping out the Fanfare song was a sight that Final Fantasy may change considerable in the future :(

i don't think there will be a Final Fantasy X-3 but if there would be one, i'd have to agree with what FurY said.

Both games to me are quite cool and ok in all aspects that means everything listed at the beginning of the post

I kinda liked FFX better, it's got a better plot/storyline and cooler characters. FFX-2 storyline/plt is kinda boring(lame), not the greatest story in FF, but the dressphere was cool :D

The only thing that can redeem Square Enix when it comes to the horrible steaming pile of Jpop fanboy attracting rubbish that Final Fantasy X-2 was is a Final Fantasy X-3 that begins with "Yuna woke up from her horrible nightmare, swearing to herself she would never listen to the 5-6-7-8's before going to bed ever again."

Then maybe we can have another beautiful story like Final Fantasy X.

I thought the graphics got worse. They had way less Videos in the game which made it kinda boring at times. And Gippal and Baralai I thought were kinda lame. Their part in the story really was stupid.

Also something that shocked me, In FFX Bosses has become a normal fiend in FFX-2. Like Omega and the Water boss on the Macalania woods on FFX, and many others, that sucks.

FFX because

- The Story was so pointless in FFX-2. They didnt have a lot to go on..FFX's story was so much more involving.

- The Battlesystem in FFX was good, and so was FFx-2's. I liked different aspects of each. So Nothing wins on that point.

- The Music FFX had better music IMO. I cant really argue that point.

- Graphic(Videos) There was a total of 5 movies(i'm guessing) in FFX-2. And two were concerts. They didnt LOOK any better or anything, but there was more in FFX and they were alot cooler.
Dancing < Grinding on Rails in the air. Also, what was with the shadows?? normally shadows aren't just a ball..


- The Characters Rikku I liked in FFx. She became(if possible) more ditsy in X-2. That was saddening. Yuna was just annoying..I liked her sweetness in FFX, but she was whiny and struck poses waay too much in x-2. Paine was all right, but not enough to pull the other two from the depths of rejection.

FFX gets my stamp of approval.

i don't know if i am at a position to vote, considering i haven't played FFX-2 except for a demo (i haven't even beat ffx yet, i'm at the seymor at mt. gagzet, will this guy ever die!?). but from what i played, i would say that they are equal. i liked X-2's battle system, but the music was horrible, HORRIBLE! one of the main things i liked about FF was its pretty music. and then they got some rock music... oh, well. i'm not really at a position to make an opinion on the story line, considering i only played a demo. but FFX's storyline was great! a lot of thought put into it, well written.

i also saw a clip of Yuna singing on stage...yeah...i almost laughed my head off when i saw it. it just looked so cheesy and stupid. but i don't know what happened in the story...maybe it fit some how.

anyway. from what i played, all FFX-2 has going for it is its battle system and sex apeal. it seems to me that the just wanted to release anything, so they thought that by making their outfits a bit more slutty, add some rock music, and make it like the early 90's they could make tons of money.

i didnt like ffx-2 at all when i first got it because i thought the battle system was screwed(minding i had only played ffx before) now that i have played some other ff games i realize that this game was pretty good. the only downside is that it tended to glitch whenever i was on that road toward vegnagun.

I thought that FFX made a much better game than FFX-2. I mean, come on! X actually had a workable story line, while FFX-2 started off from a very bad position from X. FFX-2 introduced a completely diffrent plot lin that threw it in the wrong direction.

FFX-2. I have explained myself over and over. FFX-good game. FFX-2-bad game. Why? Plot, Music, Dresspheres are all laughable. (Shock, horror, he's contradicting our views!) I tire of this. Lets all agree to disagree.
