This drives me bonkers. Track 1 (The Power, Digital Mixes), first 10 seconds. I hear about 8 click/pop noises (first one about the 1.25 second mark), but while I can hear it, I can not see it. Used Goldwave to get a good look, and nothing obvious.
Not to knock the OP, thank you kindly. I looked into the logs and while not in Accurip's database, I believe the no-error assessment.
Those clicks are not on the same track on the Deluxe Version (VSD).
Is it my ears, shoddy digital cleanup...?

Those clicks/pops are probably from the digital masters itself, as they are present on the 320kbps mp3 shared here before. The 2003 deluxe version you mentioned that was released by VSD used the analog tapes as source. The 2013 Kritzerland edition also used the analog tapes, so no clicks there too. The only releases I can say actually used the digital masters are the original ones from 1986 (both Intrada and VS). Don't know if the 1993 Intrada release used the digital or the analog sources.

I'm really not sure how that happened, those tracks are there in the original compressed folder I uploaded but not there when I downloaded from the link...very curious but I am uploading those missing tracks and will put a link up when done.

Yes CD 1 and 2 are accurately ripped but I can't check CD3 there are errors, could you rip again the CD3 Kevin?

Edit : I have re-encoded the track 8 with xrecode II now I can check with cue tools but the CD3 is not accurately ripped but the track is no more corrupted.

Same here. Track 8 of CD3 is corrupted. :(

Track 8 corrected but the CD3 still not accurately ripped, a new rip is necessary I think.

The track's lenght is supposed to be 7 minutes, but it's only a minute or so here. Well, at least it's playing now, even if one minute.

We'll have to wait for Kevin to re-rip CD3. I guess Mediafire is not so gentle with files we upload there. I had the re-up something there twice because it kept getting corrupted also, while my original compressed folder was extracting just fine.

A new rip is necessary but for the moment it's better than nothing.

A Nice Thank You for Posting This One ! The Original Release from Varese was actually the very first cd I ever bought... I went to the city, some 30km from where I live...with my bike, just to get it and first time listening to it, I found it a real disapointment at the time (way too short, way too expensive and the music I loved wasn't on the disc...) and now, it just keeps coming back like someone's trying to tell me "sorry for the letdown and all the trouble you went to, let me make it up by releasing another version..."
Will this be the final edition ? "They're back!"
