Very interesting, thank you. At first I thought this was the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name, but that was done by Toto and Brian Eno (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_(soundtrack)).

In the interests of fairness, I should point out that this MY TRANSFER and restoration of Herr Salat's vinyl with poor quality reductions of MY SCANS, originally uploaded here almost two years ago: Thread 192653

Secondly, before posting I didn't forgot to launch also a research in order to be sure that this release was not already posted here, but unfortunally it seems that I couldn't find your thread in the results, otherwise I would never allow myself to post it, believe me.
However, don't worry, I'll try to do my best to have it removed as soon (I have to ask to a modo, because I can't do it on my own).

I'm sorry... I didn't even contemplate that it went somewhere else before it came back here - please accept my apologies for flying off the handle.

I shouldn't let this stuff bother me and should instead simply be happy that lots of people are listening to the music.

It's just, these things... they're not just another CD rip... they're made with love and time and care, and this particular one involved an international collaboration. The least these bloggers have to do is say "thanks Herr Salat and tangotreats at ffshrine.org" or even just link the thread where they got it, and as far as I'm concerned honour is satisfied... But they just take the stuff and put it on their blogs.

Cratedigga, no harm, no foul - and thank you for your good-natured reply. :)

Many thanks for your understanding and your friendly reply!
Unfortunally I can't manage to find back the involved blogspot anymore, because since I found it (ca. 5 or 6 months ago) I have already cleaned my browser's cache more than once, and the worst I didn't register it in my favorites (I have so many yet, if you know what I mean...).
I remember it was one of those alternatve/prog rock blog (written in cyrillic alphabet) and I just tried to spot it again with the google search, I used the same words and browsed the results till the last page but without succes, so it would probably mean that it was closed in the mean time and no longer exists nodaways.

Many years ago, I found a complete thread of mine (I owned on a famous french music board) totally copied and paste as it stands on an obscure blogspot (it contained more than 150 links), I was totally shocked when I fell on it, and at the same time very disappointed and angry, I felt like betrayed or robbed, so I understand very well your bitterness.

Otherwise, I have reported this thread telling to the modos it was a duplication and needs to be removed, but it seems they didn't pay attentiion to my warning till now, that's why I decided to delete the link from the main header.
This is the best I could do.

Best regards.
