Re-discovering the old Varese album brings back a lot of memories of watching the miniseries and while it was far from popular at the time, I enjoyed it for what it was. I felt that in places it improved on the original (which I hope the new IT film will do) but lacked a certain charm and essence that was fresh in the original miniseries. That's always the downside to remakes is that they rarely feel as fresh the second, or third, or fourth time around. Rant aside, I've noticed that the album is truncated on some cues and outright missing many cues that I think I will try my luck and see if somebody might have the sessions or complete score.
