Who would win?

(No Tidus because I hate him and I made this thread)

Cloud. He is older and the better fighter.

Wow. You are someone that doesn't like Tidus and yet you add the worst hero, by poll of ~150 people, Squall to the list...

The answer is Cloud, although Zidane is alot quicker, he might just be the victor. I would leave it a tie.

i would have to go with cloud, thought if tidus was in it be closer but id still give it to cloud

I'm going against the crowd and saying that Squall would win. I'm hoping, if this actually happened, that Squall would use the advantage of a gunblade and shoot the others from afar. What you may call cheap is what I call strategy/ playing smart.

a tie between cloud and squall. cloud because he's cool and strong and older, and squall because i like him and he's rinoa's boyfriend, and rinoa's my fave character

Squall in my opinion, because as crystal sword said he could just use the "Gun" part of the gunblade and shoot them from afar.

Well Cloud is wicked strong, probably the strongest character ever in FF but I think Squall still might beat him. Squall never gave up when he was being tortured and he would never give up during his fight between Cloud. Oh btw my Tidus from FFX could take on every single main character and still win. But in the story hes not supposed to be that strong.

I think Squall's heart would pull him through a tough fight with Cloud.

Agreed but if he didn't have the gun part (just the blade) then I would find it to close to call but I would want squall to win.

You also forget Zidane has the advantage of his Thief Sword. He can block multiple blades. He's damn quick and could put up one hell of a fight.

Squall has the worlds most horrible personality, well until disk 3. But he is very strong, and the Lionheart is beter than the Omnislash.

Cloud was OK, but he had fits every 5 minutes, but his swords were pretty awesome, especially with 2x Cut.

Zidane is cool, but there aint that much strong about him, hje has a decent last trance, and hes quite tactical.

Squall, probably... he's hella strong/well trained etc... even though the Gunblade can't FIRE ammo over a distance. It's there to increase the damage when it connects with a target.

Having said that, Tidus'd beat the crap outta them, since he'd be the only one that can break damae limit with normal attacks. But hey! I'm going to ignore that, cause he's even more of a whining fuck up than Cloud.

If we take magic/abilites and accessories into account, then I think Cloud would win (KotR, Final attack + Phoenix, deathblow etc)

However disregarding all that I would grudgingly side with Squall. His gunblade is more versatile than Clouds Buster Sword, and it has a better range than Zidanes weapons
