It's impossible to roleplay in Vanadiel!

Situation One:

-Me- Damn these yagudos! are you here to fight them off?
-Someone- Yes
-Me- *typing*
-Someone- *Runs off to fight more monsters*

:-(

Situation Two:

-Me- Windurst will fight these yagudos off!
-Someone- {I Dont speak any English}

:-(

Anyone have the same problem?

Thats one of the main reasons i moved to WoW, people were either not bothered or japanese on that game. I'm sure there are roleplayers and interested people on that game but i just didnt meet them.

P.s not that theres anything wrong with being japanese its just the language barrier.

Been roleplaying for 16 months now... maybe a different kind of roleplay, I guess~ A long time ago I realized that whether or not people take notice of you is very much a matter of being in the right place/party at the right time. Sometimes you just get lucky and bump into people who appreciate what you do, and then it catches on over time as you make more friends, and more of a name for yourself.

I try but it just doenst work. I try to have windy pride, being a taru blm and all, but as i walk through windy all i can ever hear is "windy is so gay". Things like that make me almost want to cut my connection but that would be letting the retards win. Maybe Im the one who's stupid

Don't let them get to you. It's that sort of elitism which is killing the game.

I roleplay if I can (for instance,a few days ago when I got back to Windy after a long time spent in the Dunes I typed in "Home, Sweet Windurst" once I arrived outside Leviathan's Gate, and then used a couple of emotes to show just how relieved my character was to be back home.), but really, it's up to you (and luckily, I haven't had too many problems with Japanese players - whenever I'm playing most of the players I encounter are English-speakers).

I find it easier to role-play when I'm with a friend or friends though than with complete strangers.

Oh, and those who normally say 'Windy is gay' are often arrogant San D'orians who are just upset that Windurst is currently leading in the Conquest.. :p j/k
