TUROK - A GAME BOY Music Selection
by radorn

A long time ago I discovered the marvelous tunes that were made for these games.
I don't really like the games themselves that much, but some of the music tracks are absolutely superb.
So I decided to convert the GBSs to regular audio files, make a selection of the tracks that I liked enough to listen myself and show to others, cull the rest, and manually select fade points where they seemed to make the most sense to me.
So, no "industry standard 2 loops" here. This is not an OST, not even an OST best selection, but a personal custom edition. If something is not here, it's because I didn't like it enough. Some tracks do have stuff that I like or find interesting, but the entire track just doesn't make it for me.

Originally I kept this in FLAC, but one day I decided to move it to my portable and just transcoded it to Opus 100kbps and threw the FLACs out. I thought the fades might be a bit too extended and that I'd better redo it someday, so it didn't matter if I deleted the FLACs. I'm not sure when or if I'll get arround to that some day.

So I just had this lying arround and one day I decided to do something with it, which brings me to this.

I cleaned this up a bit, identified the TITLE SCREEN and GAME OVER themes for each game (except for Rage War's intro, because I don't like it :P), and even went to the trouble of making "covers" and other stuff that you'll find in the ZIP.
Finally, I did 3 versions of a BONUS tracks for T3, which I had meant to do for a long time, stitching toghether the Title and GameOver themes, as they share a leitmotif and just work well toghether... though I'm sure there's a lot of people more talented than me that could do a better job at that.

That's all, which is already rather long.
Thank you for downloading, reading, and listening. I hope you get some enjoyment from this! :)

Thanks go to the original composer, Alberto Jos Gonzalez, a fellow countryman from Spain.
