yes probably the hardest boss in the game but not impossible.

I am looking forward to grandia 3 as these games usually have good story lines behind them as well

I never really found the second one that hard but I really enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to the third one. The only part I actually found really hard was when you were inside Valmar's body. That place is a god damn maze! I was lost for a good few hours!

Well yes it was a big maze but had good longitivity with it

I never said it was a bad thing that it was so big. I really enjoyed that dungeon. A lot of thought must have gone into making that place.

the thing that i absolutely loved about grandia was the amount and quality of dialouge, and the size of cities, etc. more convincing than your average RPG with the whole "this is the biggest city on gaia, there are 3 citizens"

and. uh. yeah. looking forward to it. 8-)

lol that is very true. I also liked the fact that you cold see the monsters and avoid them if you needed to. That was always a plus on the grandia games.

I hope everyone's not getting there hopes up too high for this to even come to western shores. Simply look at Grandia: Extreme. Never heard anything outside a japanese release. Not to sound too negative though, i really hope this comes out in English. Grandia 2 was what caused me to get my ps2 plus it was my first game for it. :D

I didn't find Grandia II challenging, the first game on the other hard was far harder. Some of the monsters in the secret dungeons were damn difficult!
I was really annoyed when Xtreme didn't come to the UK as I was so looking forward to playing a new Grandia.
I can't wait for III to come out! I wanna see what S-E can do, from the trailers the graphics looks amazing and the battle seems far improved to previous games.
