First, these files are NOT from the Disney Release of the Silly Symphonies. I found the best recording of the Silly Symphonies I could find online and did as much as I could to clean it up, alas I needed someone better to clean them and markcope1961 did a fantastic job. Keep in mind the original quality of the recording were not great to begin with considering the time period. These are for reference only and are not (I guess) the quality you will find once Disney engineers cleaned them up.

Good evening....KevinG!

This is Rick....whiteshirtandtie.

I was able to open the first file which turned into a Mega file.

However, the other six files ask you to save them....but they turn into a white box which does not open.

Can you help?

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your share. For those having trouble, make sure all files are downloaded before opening the first one. The rest should follow automatically. Thanks once again, KevinG. Please disregard my PM.

I choose 7-z to unzip all files, but only unzip first one successfully. Then I unzip first again all files are unzipped, and I get a 4.2GB file. KevinG, thanks for all your links!

Anyone willing to walk me through how to get files 2-7? The open saves automatically with Mega. The others....you are asked to save them....and they are now able to be opened.

Thank you!

Thank you very much for your effort and your kindness to share this awesome collection. I managed to download all the files. I extracted them using Winrar, I opened the first file and the others extracted automatically. However I noticed there are some missing files or they are not properly tagged. I got 68 out of 75. I don't know if it happened just to me.

Reputation points given. :) Thank you for all your shares Kevin! :D

I still can't figure out how you get Files 2-7. What do you mean by saying you "opened" the first file. It automatically downloads through Mega. Then the others (2-7) ask if you want to open or save them through Winrar. I say Save but then you get a blank box which is not possible to open and download.

And what is 7 zip file manager?

When I click on 2-7....I get a mostly German box.

I am totally confused on this....and I can see I am not the only one.

Can anyone say just a bit more to help those of us who are not as intelligent as you are? :-{)

Thank you!

I've just looked at the original files I sent to Kevin and can confirm that those files mentioned above were missing from the set sent to me for restoration. It's probably the case that Kevin didn't have them at the time, so the full set was never available (in this version). It's very nice that Kevin decided to share this work here, as there's some great music to be heard and enjoyed. I approached this work as a "composite" remastering, as the sheer quantity of material made individual track assessment too time consuming to consider.
The resulting work gave an overall balance, which on some tracks worked very well, whilst on others, gave a trade-off of increased high frequency energy/dynamics which may not suit some tastes...Anyway, many thanks Kevin, for your continued excellence in sharing great music.

I just noticed that i am missing those tracks myself. No Biggie really. I appreciate listening to what there.

For White Shirt and Tie: Down load 7Zip File Manager. Install it on your comp.
Download the 7 Disney music files. Then open 7 Zip File Manager.
Click on file number 1 of the music files.
It should down load all the music tracks that are there.

Thank you once again markcope1961 for your tremendous work in trying to make these (very flawed) files sound as good as possible. Maybe someday I'll win the lottery and be able to own the real files!!

As for the missing files, yes they are missing because I couldn't find them online. If someone can find them I would love to add them to my files also.

Also, please download ALL 7 files before trying to open. Each one is part of a larger file and any unarchiver program must have all of the pieces of the puzzle before stitching it back together.

I guess I should have separated these into smaller files myself and uploaded them so that you didn't have to have all of the pieces, but this seemed easier at the time. Live and learn...
