Have any of you attempted to use video game music while playing pen and paper role playing game? (as a Game Master/Dungeon Master)

Just curious to hear about your experiences, eg did it benefit the mood? was it too repetitive? was it okay organising it all (or was it frustrating, trying to find the right 'battle' music or whatever in the moment)? etc.
