This is a Castlevania compilation I put together, compiled from official soundtracks and new recordings. Like most "The Essential" albums (Weird Al, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, etc.), it's intended both for long-time fans of the series and newcomers alike, featuring songs from every game. A lot of work has been put into everything from the ripping and recording to the running order, so try and listen to it as one solid experience (as it was intended) if possible. I tried to fit as many of the "classics" as possible, but one can only do so much with 80 minutes. :)

That said, enjoy and share with anyone who has the gall to ask why you listen to Castlevania music, or VGM in general. If you like any of the new recordings, let me know and I'll do a full soundtrack of whichever game suits your fancy.
