SO.

When I was younger(jr. high) I was quite the fan of the cranberries. They were also one of the few bands I was even vaguely familiar with...but I was never really much more than vaguely familiar with them. I never put much thought into spending money on music until around the end of high school, and by then I had forgotten them for the most part.

But I've been meaning to pick something of theirs and don't know what to get. I may just go with one that has the most songs I remember, and I don't want to get a best of album. But I figured I'd ask for reccomendations here first. Any album stand out way above the rest of them, did they peter out at the end of their run or are actually not anygood and I haven't realized it because my mind was fogged when I was 13? I dunno... but maybe you do?

maybe?

Well, you could go for their debut album "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" or, "No Need To Argue". The latter would be the better choice, imo. It has some pretty popular tracks like Zombie, Ode To My Family, etc.

Honestly though, I'd just go with their best of. That would allow you to get the most from all their albums. Their individual albums aren't all that great tbh. They each have a few memorable tracks, but nothing to keep me fully enthrawled.

I wouldn't touch any of their other albums. Possibly with the exception of "To The Faithful Departed". Possibly.

Yeah, I've been looking into it and although I said I didn't want to get a best of, that's probably what I'll end up doing if I get anything =\

my beautiful youthful memories have taken a small beating today.

anywaysthanks

I'd go with "No Need to Argue" over the greatest hits album, personally.

The greatest hits album is missing Dreaming my Dreams- best Cranberries song ever, in my opinion.
