Hastega is important, and I would suggest training a bunch in the halls of the airship. Having around 2000 HP, having stats that are at least an average at 40, or around there. Auron is a lot of help, plus if you can build up Overdrives too, that will be plenty to wipe out that freak.

Also if you have it cast slow on evrae. =)

Wait is Evrae the dude you fight in Bevelle on the airship? If so use al bhed potions. They are ESENTIAL.

He's a pushover if you know what you're doing, and to know what you're doing simply command Cid to steer away when it shows Evrae toss back its head, then it's no problem.

My tip would be to cast Haste on your party, especially when Evrae is down to about 8,000 HP, and take advantage of the missiles. If you unleash all of your overdrives and use Al Bhed Potions to heal, then you shouldn't have a lot of worries.

Yeah as they said, without the Al Bhed potions it is near impossible unless you have done some exstensive training. Also see if you can't put some of your items to good use with Rikku's overdrive.

I am going to disagree with you Omgega. You should just stay in there next to Evrae and not move away from him. Tidus's turns are important in defeating him.

I'm going to have to disagree with you blitzking. Not everyone can stand Posion Breath.

Stay away from Evrae as much as possible. When he gets around 2,000 HP, he will start using his worsed attack, Posion Breath. Don't wait until he cocks his head back because sometimes you won't have time to escape. So simply stay away as much as possible. Keep Lulu, Wakka, and Kimahri in your party when you are far away because they should be the only ones who can do far-range attacks. Every time HP is low, have Rikku come in with Al Bhed potions. Always keep your party hasted. Save someones overdrive for the end of the battle to kill Evrae before he kills you.

Jeez you make him sound hard. If he does use poison breath on you just use an Al bhed potion. If you get a ability sphere in the game, teach Tidus use. My Tidus usually knows this ability at this time of game and really helps against this fight.

He doesn't need use. Rikku has it. Plus, not everyone is a perfect game player like you. Evrae is hard if it is your first time. He was hard for me.

Calm down. I have to admit that Evrae was hard the first time I played FFX. But when I have trouble with something and look at a guide, I don't want a strategy that will confuse me, I want a nice easy strategy and if there is one I will use it. And maybe now I am perfect at FFX. (I think I earned that to call myself a FFX expert.)

If you really think about it no boss is actually hard beacuse all you have to do is fight random feinds over and over and over and over until you are strong enough to beat him. But of corse this takes far too long for most people so they get online and ask for help.

The first time I fought it it killed me with no effort, then I trained some, tried again and killed it within 15 mins or so, life's ironic...

Thaliel is right. If you are ever stuck on any boss in FF, the best thing to do is train.

Can anyone help me with Seymour for the first time. Its my first time playing ffX Those guado bastards keep on tossing potions and their magic isreally powerful.

Forget the Guado, just attack Seymore. And level-up some if you do that then you can crush him. (Because you are on your first time round, BEWARE OF SPOILERS!)

If you have an item with sensor equipped, that more or less tells you exactly what you need to do to win. Still...

To disable the Guados' healing ability, use Rikku to steal their potions from them. Then wipe them out first. Keep Yuna casting her nul spells depending on what Seymour is gonna cast next. That way, he'll never hurt you after you figure out the order.

aren't we on the evrae topic?

If you have them, Kimahri's Stone Breath or a Petrify Grenade should wipe out the guardians immediately.

Thanks it helped me alot. How to fight Anima was easy enough. I knew how to heal shiva I just hated the way he used multi Fira or Multi Blizzara. (Tip: Use lunar curtain if you have it)

Heres a tip to help your characters in any battle. Use Rikkus overdrive mix to mix Arctic wind and Light Curtain. This will help your party alot during the battle.
