Forza Horizon 3 - Music From Beyond The Horizon
Various Artists | Variable Formats (For Now)

What is this?

I've been meaning to put together a compilation of all the radio songs in-game for Forza Horizon 3 for a very long time now. The summer festival that is Horizon has a lot of tunes that perfectly fit the vibes of every cheering NPC and wandering Drivatars that could have used a few more years in drivers education. In fact, one of the reasons I come back to the Horizon games more so than other arcade racers is the various selection of music that plays.

Last year, when Forza Horizon 3 hit stores, the music selection grew much larger than the previous entries of the series. I have a compilation of the other two games and I've been meaning to make one for this game, too. Why now? Maybe laziness, but in actuality it's because I have upload speeds that would make Australians blush. My download speeds don't fare much better, either.

In short, what I have presented to you is a compilation of all the music that plays throughout the Horizon festival. Well, an incomplete version anyway.

Why is it incomplete?

As I mentioned in the last section, my upload speeds are atrocious, as are my download speeds. And since Horizon 2 there are more radio stations with more music than ever. Some of the songs in this compilation I obtained via various *cough* methods, and some I purchased from online stores if I couldn't find it using the former option. This takes a while, much longer than I anticipated! Couple that with taking forever to download and upload anything I chose to take a different approach with this method of release.

Over the next 2-4 weeks, I will be pushing a new "disc" onto the MEGA folder every now and again. Some may come quickly and some may take time, depending on whether or not I can actually pirate/purchase the song(s) in my region (yes, that is actually a bit of a problem). This also makes obtaining FLACs very challenging since most downloads are in MP3/M4A format. I'll do my best to get the best audio file available; I will not resort to YouTube rips!

Also, since this isn't an official release, I consider this an ongoing project. All the songs in this compilation have to adhere to strict tagging requirements so my music software doesn't split every song into its own album.

I could also use help! If you can find songs or potentially work on a radio station or two (that would be very nice) this compilation can be done much faster! As of right now I'm focused on lossy files, but once this is all done I can start working on a FLAC version!

Thank you for looking!

As of 17-Feb-2017, disc 2 is nearly complete.

This compilation follows the radio stations listed in this link. Each radio station is considered a disc:

17-Feb-2017 changes

- Disc 02 is almost complete! Sorry for the wait, I've been bedridden over the course of the month.
* I'll be pushing new tracks into disc 2's folder later today and over the weekend as I find them.
- Changed album title to sound more catchy.
- Changed folder picture to a much better image from Microsoft.
* Removed older material used to make the first cover. Only the folder image remains in the BK folder.
* You can take the image provided in the post and use MP3tag to swap the album art yourself if needed.
- We're The Trees is now available in MP3 format (WARNING: Converted from lossy to lossy, expect worse sound quality!)
* You can find it in a new folder called "Conversions" in the MEGA share link.
- Cleaned up some stuff regarding artist names and genres.

I'm open to criticism. Let me know what's up!

I don't see any folder?? I go to the link and enter the encryption key but no new folder appears. Am I doing anything wrong?

Hey folks, sorry about that. The issue with the link has been fixed. I appended the URL so it includes the decryption key as well.

I'll be adding a 192kpbs version of "We're the trees" from iTunes in another folder so folks that want consistency over bitrate can be happy. Disc 2 will be available soon!

Sorry for the wait folks, I've been a bit sick since the beginning of this month and it's becoming a bit of a challenge to manage. I've pushed out what I've put of disc 02, which is about 12 of 18 tracks that I have "tracked" down ;). I'll be using my laptop to push whatever is left over the weekend.

Just a heads up, I just started uploading the new batch of files, which also replace the older ones in disc 01. I'd suggest a redownload if you want consistency. I changed up a couple of things to make managing the songs better, so once you download these new files everything should be good to go. All the files should be up within an hour or so. Thanks for looking!
