I had one of those "Real Genius" bootlegs that were floating around the net years back, but I was always unhappy with their sound quality. Let's face it, those comps sounded like they were recorded off youtube. I noticed someone made an honest attempt (Thread 176630) at compiling one not too long ago from better sources. I cannot vouch for its sound quality, as I seemed to have missed it before its download link died. However, I noticed that user used 12" mixes where those earlier bootlegs used 7" mixes. Anyways, here's my crack at it with source info included. Everything is sourced from FLACs and the sound normalized with Audition. Currently, I'm looking for a better source to "The Textones - Standing in the Line". The 2001 remaster (which is the same as the 1996 remaster) is better than the shitty 2015 remaster, but I may have to look for a vinyl rip.

Anyway you can share a FLAC version? I have half the tracks needed for my complete/expanded soundtrack collection FLAC updates.

Great! It was a test, albeit, a very cruel one.

Actually, I forgot to post it in the initial post, but it is there now. So, the password is "ffshrine" (without quotes).

new link! Basically, I swapped out the 2015 remaster of track 10 for a 2001 remaster.

Anyway you can share a FLAC version? I have half the tracks needed for my complete/expanded soundtrack collection FLAC updates.I'll share the FLAC when I'm happy with the final result. The 2001 remaster (same as the 1996 remaster) of track 10 is better, but I'm thinking about holding out for a vinyl rip. Mainly, I'm rather reluctant for fear of bootleg copies showing up on ebay for sale (this boot should be free), but I may be overestimating the popularity of this particular soundtrack since the tracks are not exactly out of print.
