I was curious if any one could recommend any good MUD games online, i am trying to get started on those types of game but have no idea which ones are good or bad. Free or cheap ones would be nice i am poor.thanks.

I can't remember what MUD stand for, multi-something or other, but anyway, a few years back I used to play Discworld MUD, just type that into Google and it should bring it up for you. Anyway, its a very good MUD, pretty big, and man, many things to do in it.

Kind of, but its solely made up of text.

Yeah, i much prefer MMORPG's now that i know what you're talking about. The whole text thing just doesn't 'excite' me in anyway.

MUD means Multi-user Dungeon. The only MUD I ever really played and liked is Xyllomer (http://www.xyllomer.de/). It's pretty large and well programmed.
