During the period of dictatorship in Chile (1973 - 1990), Paulina Escobar (Sigourney Weaver) was tortured and raped by her captors. Despite the trauma, she never betrays her then-boyfriend, the famous lawyer
Gerardo Escobar (Stuart Wilson), who actively participated as an opponent of the regime as editor of a clandestine newspaper. Both marry and settle on the coast.

On an evening on the way home, Gerardo has problems with one of the tires of his car. A neighbor, Dr. Roberto Miranda (Ben Kingsley), helps out and takes him home, where his wife awaits them. Once there,
Paulina recognizes the voice of the stranger as that of her torturer. She wants a confession...

I got this score when I was... 14? with in the first month of the score's release. I still have the cd. Its awesome that some remember. Was a brilliant film. but now I feel old.
