I am currently playing the game for the third time and it only just crossed my mind...We beat NORG..he retreats into his shell and then what...I kind of accepted, "yeah he is defeated", but to be honest, at the end of the game we get the cool Video of what life is like after defeating Ultimecia...but NORG is still in Garden in his shell as far as we know!!!!!

Hmmm... I always thought that you flat out killed him, I don't remember that part too well though, maybe everyone just forgot about him or something, at any rate you should probably say there are spoilers in here.

Um, yeah, I kinda got the idea that he was wasted too after I beat him.

He's not mentioned at all after he dies, apart from straight after, when you're talking to Cid in the infirmiry about how he got Garden started. I think it's safe to assume you killed him in the boss battle.

Maybe I was hullicinating but afterwards don't they say something like "What do we do now, we just killed the gardenmaster" I could've sworn that was said, if so then he most certainly died.

Hmmm... during the battle, when you defeat him, he says 'I'M-DONE-FOR! I'M-AFRAID-OF-YOU! ME-WHY-ME?', or something along those lines. Sounds like his last words to me.

It does say 'what do we do now?...we just killed the garden master' ive only just got to esthar and i remember that bit trust. also what happened to his 'helpers' the people this the weird heads...what happened to them?

NORG, I think he got killed more when those uh seifer's soldiers or something went onto the uh ship the balamb or the school ship thing and and the soldiers probably went to the uh main floor and and killed him more and and uh

In Shumi village they say something about NORG, but I dont remember about what exactly. SO maybe he is dead, maybe not.....a question waiting to be answered

He dies, im sure of it. Why would they leave him alive? Also when you beat him he goes all wriggily like in pain and then lays dead. (My memory isnt tooo hot but im 95% sure)

Mmmm well when you go back down there are some shumi people down there that seem to be doing somthing, probably carting the dead norg out or something and they apogalise for him.
I was under the impression though that he just hid in his shell thing and not die.

Okay it's been a long time sice ive played but, I'm not sure who actually found this place either. But theres this place on an island i think with these man dressed in green i think. Yellow coloured skin perhaps. I know it's a bad description. Oh yeah either they are the those lion things that say laguna, they like turn into them or something, or is it they are the lions and they change into the weird men. Anyway I'm getting off track again.

Yes norg survived and further evolved, probably into something more evil according to his heart and according to the Shumi. I know people like him and didn't like his ass anyway.

No. I think they turn into a moomba even though they weren't honorable. I think it's part of their life. You know, turning into a moomba after they died or so.

Norg turned into a Shumi ( it's the good evolution) but he became twisted by money and greed and his defeat was the collapse point of his bad attitude, and he morfed again!!!(that's when he is in that glowing thing) when you see the Shumi's at the B1 floor it's a thing that you need to see if you want the Laguna statue to be completed, most probably NORG turned into a Moomba, or like that guy at the Shumi house he turned into something like he's heart, he didn't die because he doesn't die in agony he only says that he is afraid of the team so he hide himself in that "egg"

hmmm perhaps turning into a moomba means that Norg needs to start a new life (right his evil ways kind thing) coz moombas are slaves.

moombas arent slaves! they are the final stage of the shumi life, thats the most peaceful form and so on.
they used moombas as slaves in esthar though

I believe its the Desert Prison you are refferring to. Yeah, their they were treated like slaves, but Moombas are generally not regarded as such.
