I just got final fantasy VIII and each time i finish installing it, the screen just closes after i click 'finish' then nothing comes up that says 'play' so i cannot play even though its installed. My directX wont install and also the other thing. I dont know how to install completely, anyone have this problem? or can someone tell me how to play it?

If you have not tried running the appropriate .exe file, you should immediately sell your computer due to there being no hope for you.

Not to mention that this is an FFVII forum and you said you were trying to install FFVIII...
